On a Nissian 300zx. Where is the year model? and Make?

We got one from a car sale with no title and on the door is not the model or make...Where is it?

Go back to the car sale and demand a refund or a title. Vehicles are sold by title. Unless you bought a parts car. (Typically as is where is and for parts only stated on the bill of sale.) The year, make and model plus the motor and several other things are encoded in the VIN of course. Post the VIN and I can tell you what you have.

Model is 300 ZX Make is Nissan. The 17 digit Vin# will easily tell you what it is! The door jamb has the manufacture date. Do not spend a dime on that car until you get clear Title! Z-30 280zx 1979 till 1984, Z31 300zx 1985 till 1989, Z-32 300zx turbo, normally aspirated and convertible1990 till 1996 up to 1999 in japan Z-33, 350Z is the current model. 1979 thru 1996 ZX's came in 2+2 or coupe. The first generation Z cars imported from 1971 to 1978 240Z, 260Z and 280Z had two body styles starting in 1994 280z 2+2.

Pop the hood, there will be a metal plaque with chassis, engine code, VIN and just about all the other information on the car. If the chassis code is Z32, its a 1990 to 1996 300x, if its z31 then its 83-89 (likewise a VG30E code designates a SOHC car, meaning its a Z31, while a VG30DE is a DOHC car, meaning z32) . After that just decode the 10th digit in the VIN, that will tell you the year.

the make is a Nissan and the model is a 300ZX...you can get the year from the Vin# or look under the hood on the core support and their should be an emissions tag..it should say emissions legal for a certain year, its usually that year car...

try looking at the bottom of the seat belts, you might find a tag with information
