Im looking to make a quick dinner in the microwave by using some shrimp, chicken, and white rice, however, in my house, there are only very simple ingredients right now. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would saute your chicken and shrimp on the stove top rather than cooking it in the microwave. The shrimp may turn out rubbery in the microwave. Put some oil in the pan cut the chicken in to bite size pieces and saute. After the chicken is cooked add in the shrimp - salt and pepper them. Add any other spices you might like. Cook your rice in the mircrowave. If you have green onions or reg onions you can saute those and throw them in. Same with tomatos or canned tomatos. Add butter or soy sauce to the rice and you are good to go!

These are all simple ingredients, but you don't say if they are already cooked.
Rice is better steamed, shrimp better fried, & chicken needs to be cooked in the oven.
They each take different cooking times.

However, if you're talking about left-overs, they can be heated together in the microwave.

I would add some veggies like peas, corn, or carrots; mixed into the rice, will give it some balance & colour. I'd also add (fried) onions or celery, for some flavour.
You could use mushroom soup as a sauce; either mixed together or poured over.

Try using Uncle Ben's Instant/Quick Rice and add a package of soup mix to the water. You can use any dry soup mix, a dry salad dressing mix, the package of seasoning from a dip mix or a bullion cube. Drain a can of tomatoes and use the juice to substitute part of the water called for on the rice. Cut the chicken into similar sized chunks and cover with plastic wrap. Cook on low until done, turning after every 30 seconds. Cook shrimp in a similar manner. Now cook the rice according to the package directions.
After rice is cooked, add chicken and shrimp and stir. Add a dollop of butter and season with hot sauce. Top with the reserved tomatoes or stir them into the mixture. Call it New Orleans Style Chicken, Shrimp and Rice. Put on some zydeco music and serve with beer and crusty French bread.
