Remain in "custody" but be able to be treated in a facility that isn't a "jail" but also doesn't allow her to leave.
Basically should she be "committed", if her symptoms are so bad that she can't cope in the jail setting and several people have diagnosed her psycological condition as warranting it?

There are thousands and thousands of seriously mentally ill people in jails and prisons. They're lucky if they get to see a psychiatrist once in a while and receive medication let alone get out early. If Hilton was so severely ill that she couldn't remain in jail she should have been hospitalized NOT sent home to her mansion. This was obviously a crock of crap cooked up by her lawyer and psychiatrist. Why don't they release any other inmate who cries and won't eat their sandwich?

I think if you do the crime, you do the time!!!!!!!!!! In her case she thought she could get away with it because she was famous. It wasn't a one off either....she had been arrested and charged for the same offence before, so clearly she was not that concerned. If she wasn't famous, this case would not merit any media interest.

Basically, she can cry and squeal and claim mental trauma of some description, but it's bollocks! Her biggest trauma is facing up to breaking the law and not getting away with it. I have no sympathy whatsoever for her.

My thought on the matter is that Miss Hilton needs a cold, hard dose of reality- something she has never had before in her life. It's a shame that she has to get it in jail.

Prisons and jails are fully medically equipped to handle ANY situation. I don't know how she did it but the rich do get priviledges. I can't stand the woman, personally

If you do the crime you should do the time. If they let poor people out then maybe but she should have no special treatment
