I seriously don't like pickles, and I'm not the only one. I hate going to any burger place and having to ask for no pickles or completely forgetting and having to take them out.

So I just want to see how many people like them and how many do not (specifically on burgers, not in general).

Also, keeping in mind that cucumbers are a whole different story.

You bring up an excellent question. I love pickles (specifically the cucumber chip kind and dills) but I HATE eating it on burgers. The tangy taste of it eliminates the flavor of the burger that I am enjoying. Should pickles really belong in burgers? I believe so. It gives the eater a choice: someone who likes pickles on a pickle burger can eat the burger. Someone who hates pickles on a pickle burger can take it out then eat the burger. Now think of this scenario: Some who likes pickles on a NON-pickle burger won't get their pickles. Thats why they are on burgers. waste of pickles? maybe. Then one can argue that it would be a waste of money eating a non-healthy meal (assuming your talking about fast food burgers.)

Pickles On Burgers

I HATE pickles on hamburgers. I do like them on the side - but can't stand the taste of them on the actual burger. I guess it is all how you get used to eating them. I was also raised to think ketchup didn't belong on burgers either - just mayo and mustard. That is still the way I eat them.

I don't think so, i only know like 2 people that like pickles ON the burger, but it could still be ok like on the side or something like that.

They do not belong on sandwiches, in my opinion. The most flabbergasting use of pickles on a sandwich I have ever seen was on McD's excellent McRib -- when I got a couple of those, they each had a small hand full of pickles on them. Can you imagine? It nearly ruined it for me. Picked em all off so it was fit to eat.

Pickles complete the best hamburger. They add a sweet taste to the burger. I don't care for pickles themselves but on a hamburger they taste Godly.

Pickles are just wrong. I think it's the ruin of a perfectly good cucumber.

I love sour pickles, and always ask for extra pickles when i order my subway sandwich. sometimes I eat them as snack right out of the jar.

Go to a quality burger joint where the burger is served naked and you tell them exactly what and how much you want. In Canada, try Harvey's and Lick's. Roy Rodger's probably qualifies in the USA.
