HINT:
There is only one starting place on earth where the hunter will end up back at his front door.

White -- it was a polar bear. He is at the North pole.
BUT! It might have been an Alaskan brown bear -- you never know!

White.
EDIT:Hold on if he went 50 miles west then north, then his house has the width and height of a door... How can you be in front of the house if he only went 50 miles north after going 50 miles south and then 50 miles west, if he went out the FRONT door? If he did go out the front door, then he couldn't have arrived in FRONT of the house. And he must have a big house if he could go 50 miles west and arrive home.
I'm gonna go with French Guiana, I guess. I don't really think that it's as simple as just "North" or "South" pole. I'm going to keep thinking about it... I just know there's something I'm not getting or something I'm forgetting. Not sure if there are any bears living in French Guana or they're color.

Okay.. Well there are four 5 day periods in 20 days (5+5+5+5=20) So... Since 3 hens lay 10 eggs each every 5 days you simply multiply 10 and 4 equaling 40 eggs. However, if EACH hen lays 10 eggs every 5 days and there are 3 hens... You would take 30 eggs every 5 days and multiply it by 4 to get a grand total of 120 eggs Hope this helped =)

Ok after 3 summer schools for math, I'd have to say you COULDN'T/WOULDN'T be back at your house cuz' if your going south, then west and again north, you'd have to go back east to be in front of your house. :-)) As far as the color of the bear, what heck, let's say "rainbow." :-))

White, because he's at the north pole--he goes south, west, and when he goes north, he's back at his house again.
