I'd like to think Jesus and God both do that, what other hope can we hold on to? As Christians, we're led to believe in God and Jesus and the Bible. We all need something to believe in and in your case it's Jesus. We have a little glimpse of hope with our prayers, that our loved ones ARE there and waiting.
I'd like to think that Jesus does send our prayers right up...

I think when you die the spirit goes into a different dimension and when you pray and are concentrating you are able to pierce through and reach the 'other side'. Your prayer reaches your Mom on some level same with prayers to God and since I believe Jesus is God then I can't imagine a Western Union type thing going on. It's all one on the other side and your love & need to connect is getting through somehow. God is ALL loving and I believe your prayers and conversations are getting to your Mom.

Yes, I have and still do, but like one said, I don't think He has to tell her, she knows. one other thing, she is not asleep, she is conscience, the story about the Beggar, and the rich man tells us that. They are not just a spirit floating around up there, their soul has form, that is how the rich man could recognize the Beggar, when he opened his eyes, and looked over in Paradise, and seen him. It is a comfort to believe that Jesus would do that. And Jesus does hear prayers, like a lawyer, when you talk to a judge.

Yes - frequently. No.
No it can't.
But it helps us who remain keep it together while we are still here on earth.
I got to the point where I ask Him to pray for (named loved one) because I am never sure if the prayers I pray are really the best ones for either me or for her / him. I still pray them but sometimes it hurts because I get in the way of the best way.
We are so weak and vulnerable sometimes it is easier to pass it to the One who is Perfect as He knows the perfect way to pray. It is all about wrestling as with the Angel at Peniel.

Jesus does not hear prayers.
Jehovah is the hearer of prayers.
We have to go through Jesus to get to God.
God wants us to acknowledge that his son died for us and they we owe him a lot. So Jesus tells us no one gets to the father except through me.
Jesus will not carry messages to the dead. The bible says they are conscience of nothing at all. They have died and their bodies have gone back to the earth.
They are awaiting a resurrection with a new body.
Then you can tell your mom yourself that you loved her and missed her the whole time she was asleep.
It will be sooner than you think for them to come back.
First the earth has to be beautified and the ones that lived through The great tribulation and Armageddon will be taught first. Then all the dead will rise and be taught about Jehovah.
The obedient ones will get a chance to live forever.
If you think this is a good idea and want to know more contact your local kingdom hall.

i'm sure jesus lets them know, if they didn't already hear ur prayers themselves, i believe that are deceased love ones are still around us and hear us when we pray, so if they miss a message i'm sure jesus lets them know he's good like that

i think Jesus tells your mother. He loves you and your mom, so why not? unless, your mother didnt have a good relationship with Jesus when she passed and she's in a place Jesus cannot touch her. and by the way you talk about her, i dont think she is. so yeah. through all that, i think He tells her
