Laws prohibiting intermarriage in the family were not imposed until the Levitical Law (Ordinances) were written.
(Cain and Seth would have presumable married women from among their sisters. Genesis 5)
Sin in the world since the Garden of Eden has had a very detrimental effect on age and life expectancy. According to the Bible, we have had 5 or 6 thousand years of sin's negative impact on longevity.

Of course at the beginning there was only Adam and Eve.
Then they has three sons and some daughters (the Bible does not say how many). Than they has more children.
As these children were the only humans they married each other. God allowed it, because that is how He set it up. Also our gene pool was pure than, so there was no adverse effects.
Latter when there were many people, God made it a sin to marry a brother or sister.
As to why people lived so long before the flood - the earth was much different back than. There was an ice water shield over our atmosphere (the Bible says that God separated the water beneath from the water above). This shield gave us about twice the air pressure and oxygen levels than we have today (we know this from air sample in amber). Also the ice kept out harmful rays from the sun.
Today doctors are using hyperbolic chambers to treat people with many injuries and sicknesses with 2x the air pressure and oxygen levels.

Who else was there to sleep with back when you are talking about? There was nobody else. As for why the people lived so long, they ate nothing but fruits and nuts and came from a perfect couple. If you look, it was not till Noah and the flood that God told them to eat meat, the clean ones only, which cut their life span tremendously, and we have done it ever since. Noah knew the clean from the unclean that God spoke of so it cannot be a Jewish thing as some will tell you as there was not even a Jew at that time alive. If you do the research you will find that vegetarians live an average of 11 years longer than their meat eating counterparts. Something to think about. And by the way, you can get all the nutrients you need with simple fruits and nuts and now you can even throw in some veggies.

--IMPERFECTION has taken its toll , with disease that can easily be transferred in a close realative marriage!
--AT A TIME designated by God when giving the 600 laws to Moses & the Israelites about 1513 BCE, the law prohibited close marriages!
--AS TO THE ONSET OF the aging average please note this reference by Moses;
(Psalm 90:10) “10 In themselves the days of our years are seventy years; And if because of special mightiness they are eighty years, Yet their insistence is on trouble and hurtful things;. . .”
***UPDATE:
--AS TO THE time designation back to creation, Why does Genesis 1:14 show that the Sun & moon were definitely there for seasons and time measurement, if they were not the same as today?
--TIME MEASUREMENT while Noah was on the Ark was definetly in hours days, months & years:
(Genesis 8:2-5) “2 And the springs of the watery deep and the floodgates of the heavens became stopped up, and so the downpour from the heavens was restrained. 3 And the waters began receding from off the earth, progressively receding; and at the end of a hundred and fifty days the waters were lacking. 4 And in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ar′a·rat. 5 And the waters kept on progressively lessening until the tenth month. In the tenth month, on the first of the month, the tops of the mountains appeared.”

Biblically speaking the rules are not static.
Even in contemporary Christianity, the standards for marriage were not well established until late into the Dark Ages. Even King Charlemagne, considered to be one of the religion's top historical rulers had multiple wives for instance.
As to lifespan, well... again, Biblically things change. Rules and proceedures change, things become more complicated and dynamic as things go on, Laws change definition, and overall God's relationship with his creation is a dynamic one.
People used to live longer. They also all spoke the same general language. Things get turned around as time goes on. Makes sense if you think about it, though.
As population goes up, is it really as necessary or even desireable to have people living for nearly a millennia? You think overpopulation's bad now... jeez.

(1) Because thousand of years ago, people use to eat raw food without seasonings, today we know that food needs to be cooked and with seasoning it will taste better. It 's about *time in history*, thousands of years ago, they didn't know any better, today we do.
(2) Lapses of time during Bible times were not counted as we do today, they didn't have the same calendars we have today, it was a different "time in history".

The bible is a book about inbreds for inbreds. We're all supposed to be descended from two people, Adam and Eve. It doesn't get more inbred than that.

1. Presumably, problems of inbreeding were unknown.
2. Of course they didn't live to even 100 - the Bible's bunk.
The ‘Holy’ Bible also advocates the KILLING of 2/3s of ALL HUMANITY - ya gonna do *that*? ... 'Cause it's in the Bible?

Because the bible is a fairy tale story. That is not to be taken literally, and my opinion, not to be believed in at all.
