Being an athiest is kind of like....
getting a check for a million dollars and not feeling like going to the bank to cash it.

Jesus gave you the gift of forgiveness, so you could have eternal life and all the riches in heaven.
And the athiest says "Thats ok, you can keep it"

Yep, that a pretty good summation. A quirky mixture of pride and rebellion.

Our God is a righteous one but we are currently living in the Age of Grace. Christ came to be Life to Man, not a person of fear. Man needs to see who this Person is, not from the get believe that they will go to heaven or hell. We all will give an account and must remember such, but Christ planted Himself as a seed of Life when He was alive and now that He, as the Spirit, is in His Believers, all we should do is offer and plant the same seed.

Yeah, they may want to find an incinerator somewhere so they jump in it while it is so they can find ways of loving their new homes when they arrive at their place of choice. Where do they vacation? Death Valley? But even that would be extreme paradise compared to where they are going. Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

I don't think it's that black and white. I think the atheists are conditioned to believe the world is physical only and they are enjoying being hedonists and intellectuals and there will come a time when they will tire of the cheap thrills, when they will find them empty and then they will question why they believe what they believe or even if they ever even chose it or whether it was chose for them.

hmmm...it's like getting a "check" for a million from one of those great "international lotteries".. you know, the ones you get emails about, saying you've won! All you have to do is email back with all your personal info.. trust in it.. have faith.. you'll get that million!!! Oh wait... no.. just a bunch of credit card debt from Nigeria.. oh well.. maybe next time.. keep the faith!!!

That's because the atheist can see that it's a fake cheque from a kid's board game.

To each their own. Love thy enemies (or those who are not like you) as you would love thy neighbor (or family or fiends, etc.). Let people do what they want. Yeshua won't hold it against you when you die. I promise.

I choose neither as both places are fictional and created only by the religion which glorifies them.
