Matthew 24: Is the chaper where the apostles ask Jeus the same question. What will be the time of the end. The day when Christ returns to the earth.
When nation fights against nation and kingdom against kingdom. That would have been ww1.
then in verse 21 it says a great tribulation will occurr that the world hasn't seen until today if he didn't step in no flesh would survive. But because of the chosen ones he will step in and save humanity. It will end shortly in a giant destruction of all false religion folllowed by a war between God and men.
People are already talking about the way to end war is to end religion.

Yes and no, to answer most of your questions. That is, if the 'many worlds' interpretation is correct. Ever notice how people can be cool one day and a rabid dog the next? And then, someone entirely different on yet the next? I think its the same with everything, but the changes tend to be more subtle.
I also think the yes and no answer is entirely valid due to differing localities. Something can be both true and false at the same time, in different places. This enables God to have His prophesies come true and keep us alive as the human race also.

In the future everyone dies. The end.

Oh, 15 years you say? Well then...

For me it all depends on what happens in Iran.

North Korea simply isn't a threat - that country has nothing. If you look at a composite picture of the entire earth with every country lit up, you'll see a massive black hole of darkness where North Korea sits. The country has nothing.

Iran, though... that's nestled in the center of the most volatile region in history and backed up by the Soviet Union. It also happens to be run by a complete psychopath. What happens in 15 years?

I'm a hardcore pessamist, but in this things look so bad that even my defeatist humor can't silver line this one.

There's going to be catastrophic type of weather unless we do something about it NOW. Don't wait for Bush's anticipated program of eliminating green house gases by 2050! He's not a scientist. We should listen to scientists, not politicians. It's no good taking a wait & see attitude.
I would hope that people can learn from this idiotic war that we're all going to have to get along. There shouldn't be a superior race. We need to unite in saving this earth not destroying it & all who live here.

I think the future holds a self fulfilling christian prophesy if we don't wake them up and get them to change their thoughts. They are constantly talking about the end and as a result I believe this constant focus on the end is bringing the end near, It is such foolishness. I wish god would come down and say, "hey, forget all of that other bs - if you want to save your world, you can but you have to care for your fellow man and planet and get rid of all of these liars who try to speak for me all of the time!" Only then would they change their thoughts and focus on a future instead of an Apocalypse. There are many who focus on healing and new birth, but the balance of energy is out of whack and the negative energy that Christians promote is drowning out all of the positive forces.

that's often been my awareness that climate replace predictions takes in all motives of what's inflicting perceived ameliorations to climate. i do no longer see how scientists can separate aspects. How could a scientist be sure the place organic phenomenon ends and human causal interest starts off?

There will be still be no visible effects of global warming, at least not the the naked eye.

There will still be wars here and there.

China will be moving slowing towards a free market system.

Some U.S. forces will still be in Iraq on bases.

There will be some new technologies that will be 'far out' by todays standards.

The rolling stones will still be performing, but at smaller venues with shorter concerts
