The health of your hair is determined by how you take care of yourself. A good diet and exercise program will benefit your hair, as will a generous intake of water and plenty of rest. A vitamin and mineral supplement can also benefit your hair.

In addition to these basic health steps, you can help the inner growth of your hair in other ways. Each of the following secrets should help you make hair grow faster

Scalp Massages to Help Make Hair Grow Faster ::
You can help stimulate the circulation of the scalp and ensure good health of your hair through massaging your scalp with your fingers. This helps the hair root receive its nutrients and drives away wastes which cause hair cells to grow slowly and even die. Therefore, if you massage your scalp each day, this should help your hair grow faster.

To do: A scalp massage should be performed at least once a day, if not more. It is good to do it just before shampooing your hair. Simply rub the pads of your fingers about your head, in a fashion that feels good. Your scalp should feel like it is tingling. Do this for about 2 to 3 minutes. Even if this doesn't make hair grow faster, it feels divine!

Food for Your Hair to Help Make Hair Grow Faster::
Fill your plate with plenty of spinach, raisins, and beans . These iron-rich foods stimulate the circulation of your scalp, which will help your hair grow faster.

Exercise? To Make Hair Grow Faster? You’re Kidding Right?
You know how invaluable exercise is to your heart and lungs. It improves your circulation and reduces stress which contributes to healthy hair and thus will help make hair grow faster.

A Balanced Diet to Make Hair Grow Faster.
A balanced diet is a must for everyone, especially someone who is interested in growing their hair faster. You must include the proper portions of all the food groups in your daily intake in order to get the proper nutrients, including proteins and fatty acids, which are important to the health of your hair. Only healthy hair will grow. Having healthy hair is the way to go if you want to help make hair grow faster!

What Other Ways can I Prevent Damage to My Hair and Thus Help My Hair Grow Faster?
To help make hair grow faster, keep your hair damage free with the following tips:

Never over-dry your hair. If possible, always use the lowest possible setting on your blow dryer.

Use a thermal protector on your hair whether you’re blow drying or using a flat iron.

Instead of using a brush on wet hair, use a wide-toothed comb to prevent the hair from splitting.
If your hair tangles easily you may also want to use a detangler.

To help make hair grow faster, keep your head out of the sun. That’s not only good advice for your hair, but great advice for your face! If this is not possible be sure to wear sunscreen on your face and a conditioner with UV protection on your hair.

Cut my hair to make hair grow faster? Yes! A trim 3 or 4 times per year will even out any new growth and make your hair appear fuller It will also relieve the hair of many split ends which will otherwise result in a broken hair shaft.

If you just have to have long hair now and don't have the patience to make hair grow faster, you may want to do like Paris Hilton and consider hair extensions. Either way, you too can be the owner of a Rapunzel-esque mane!

Hair grows about 1/2 inch every month. Eating right, exercise and plenty of vitamin B Complex can help with the health and possibly help it grow a touch faster, but nothing will get you 3 inches in 3 months except extensions.

My hair is long.
heres my hair daily routine:

-FLAT IRON:
wash hair w/ shampoo and conditioner
pat hair dry but leave it wet and damp
apply heat protector
blow dry my hair
divide my hair into sections
flat iron
apply frizz serum

-HAIR GROWTH:
every morning, i take my vitamin c pill
three times a week, i massage my hair with coconut oil for 10 min.
i leave it in for 5 hours
wash w/ shampoo, no conditioner.
i drink about 2 bottles of water everyday
i eat healthy
i exercise
and trims do help hair growth, i just got a trim two weeks ago and i can feel my hair growing more.
i comb my hair, no brush.
hair gorws about 0.5 cm per month so your hair will probably be about 2.5 inches in three months depending on how well you care for it!

I really don't think washing your hair in detergent will help it grow. The only thing I know to increase your hair growth is to eat a healthy diet, high in protein. Also make sure you take a vitamin every day. B vitamins help with hair growth.
