Was raised a Catholic. Became a born again Christian in highschool. But I found that 'something' I'd been missing all my life in the religion I have followed for the last 20 years.
Assalamu Alayikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatu ya Akhui Muhammed.
Ashaduan la ilaha il Allah. Wa Mohammad Rasoolallah.

A bit off topic.

It's important to realize that while the religions of the world are portrayed as a smorgas bord of self help programs, sometimes intentionally, that nothing could be further from the truth. It's a search for the truth. It'a also important to note that they cannot all be true unless a person wishes to water them all down to the point of each having no substance.

P.S. Christianity is not about a religion per say, but about Jesus Christ.

God bless

Religion is over rated. I think I need faith more than religion. Faith is what keeps you going when life throws a mean curve at you. Religion is for the fellowship & generally being with other who believe in the same God you believe in. I do believe in God the creator, but I just do not him as this guy with a beard in the sky that has a mean temper at times like in the bible where he says he gonna 'curse you , your childern & your chidrens children' Whoa that's a bit too human for me. The bibles God is too emotional for me. The God I worship is good all the time to everyone. Why because it's more of a cosmic thing to me, karma and life everafter are somehow linked. I do not believe that once you stop breathing that's it.
So to answere your question I like going to a Catholic Church because it seems very spirital in there. Lots of tradition and although we pray to Jesus I believe it does not matter what you call the higher being as long as it is done with a good heart and in a group (prayer) it's still all about recognizing there is something much greater and it is on spiritual level.
