Faith is definitely a choice. Faith requires believing what you believe despite that it is not 100% guaranteed.

Yes, faith is a choice, you have the ability to believe in something or not. As far as people making decisions based on facts depend on the individuals, culture, views, mindset and environment.

choice is an illusion Chance put you where you are and chance will be with you til you die. Faith is something that you build along the way based on stories of the past. We try to make our reality fit our life but when it all comes down faith is no more a choice than anything else we come in contact with. Luck would have to be a choice if Faith is.

Faith is belief.

And faith is a choice.

I think you want "facts". The bible is filled with stories about situations in which miracles arose. Even a children's bible story book can give you some examples in which a higher power influenced the outcome.

But here is another idea for you. Pray. Pray for belief without facts. Pray for an inner knowing of a higher power working in your life for the betterment of all.

And, please realize, God is not Santa Claus. You can have a preference in the outcome in your prayers but your not in this life to get everything you want when you want it.

I think the happiest people are the ones who give thanks to God for everything in their lives. A meal. A good night's sleep. A friend. ANd, even in troubled times, thank God because, it will pass, and something better will come along.

Good luck, friend

Faith is a sense of reality that needs to be built or cultivated through one's understanding and realization from conviction.

It has to come along with knowledge and meaning of one's thoughts, deeds and experiences which grows out of it, rather than being enforced by another person or being. Faith is not something to be given or exploited in any way.

For those who are believers by the rule of threats and other forms of external influences, it resembles the dogmatic approach of faith and are very much blinded by so-called faith, which does not bring any kinds of benefit or wisdom.

Yes. You might not remember making it, but at some point it came down to 'are you going to accept this based on no evidence whatsoever' and most people said 'yep'.

We are all given a measure of faith to get us started. What we do with it determines if that faith grows or diminishes. Be wise, choose growth.
