Thanks K, I was Wondering if Anyone Would Respond, as I Suspected, but was too Lazy to Do the Work.

K, I don't Think that Just a person is Desperate, they Should Be Taken Advantage of.

Yeah K, but it Goes On, that is Why I Think the Purveyor has a Great Deal of the Responsibility.

K, a Good Start Would Be Accountability, but Depending On the State to Do it's Job, doesn't Work.

BattleAgainstBald.com, I Never Doubted Surgical Hair Restoration Worked, my Question was About "Bosley".

One person's seemingly informed anecdote:

"Bosley Medical has a long history of disciplinary action against it by the states of CA, CT, GA, ID, IN, MD, MA, NY, PA, UT, MI, MN, OH, NC, MO, OR, WI and WA including but not limited to; medical license of Bosley put on probation or suspended and/or fined and/or assessed a civil penalty and/or other actions against it for false advertising, allowing staff to perform procedures without proper qualifications, unprofessional conduct, unethical conduct, and alteration/falsification of medical records. In the CA DA's documents in a succesful lawsuit against Bosley you'll find these beauties; getting "first starts" (doing initial work knowing the patient would need more, but telling them they never would) was a priority, a training video produced for their "senior medical assistants" shows Bosley instructing on the use of "the yellow brick road". Bosley's "yellow brick road" was a system of assessing the worth of a prospective patient so that recommendations for surgery are based on income level-- the wealthier the client the more surgery to be done. Hence, as on BMG doctor explained, "if two patients came in with the same degree of baldness, but different economic abilities, they would be told different things in order to get them to commit to the procedures". Photographs of former Bosley patients obtained by this office show severe scarring in many cases. A former Bosley employee told this office that "what is deceiving about the Bosley video is that they don't show that ugly massive visible scar". There's a lot more in the document and it's pretty sickening. What is very apparent is that Bosley is an evil man who deceived and disfigured thousands of men for his own personal gain".

EDIT: Yeah, funny. I get like that too =). Thanx for the thumbs-up too SAMI =). Here's one for you too =).

Kind of sad, really. Must be horrible to be losing your frickin' hair and be desperate enough to get surgery to restore it only to get ripped off and emotionally and physically scarred. Horrible :-(.

EDIT 2: Taking advantage of any person, desperate or not, is pretty sad, selfless, manipulative, unfeeling....the list goes on.

EDIT 3: The purveyor should be responsible, but responsiblity often takes a back seat to monetary greed. What do think is a viable solution?

EDIT 4: Thanx mdgreg C =).

Hi There,

I had a surgical hair restoration from Bosley almost a year ago and it's everything I expected it to be. I do in fact have more hair now and best of all, it looks natural. Since my procedure I have kept blog documenting all the results. The blog is called BattleAgainstBald.com and in addition to pictures and video of my (and Torrance's) hair restoration procedure I provide a wealth of information on hair loss and the other methods available to correct it.

I encourage you to check out the blog as I think it will serve as proof that hair restoration does work. Additionally, there's a number of surgeons giving great procedures, Bosley is just the biggest conglomerate and has the largest number of successful procedures.

Best,
BattleAgainstBald
