i want to replace head unit with aftermarket but i realize that the infinity system has its own amp and i dont know if there is an adapter or something available to install aftermarket stuff.

You don't need an adapter to use an after-market head unit with the factory amp in this vehicle. The stock amp is designed to work with speaker-level inputs, so just use a standard Chrysler adapter harness and wire up the speakers like you would any other vehicle. You just have to make sure you power up the wire that activates the factory amp; do this by connecting the blue wire in your adapting harness to the blue/white wire from your head unit.

if your putting an after-market in, you have to jump out the amp for the infinity system, which is the blue wire. there's nothing available to avoid it. sorry.

bolt hollow?? the place u at. the pinnacle,cylinder wall,or block?. i wudn think of it wud count besides. gasket and gasket maker is going around the bolt holes which ability no air shud be escaping by means of a bolt hollow interior the 1st place
