Unitarian Universalists are generally classified as one of the non-Trinitarian Christian denominations, and are often known for being very open in their beliefs. They are one of the more liberal branches of Christianity. Members may seek their own individual expression of religious truth. They are not Biblical literalists. They have long supported gay rights, and work toward social justice. They believe that all souls will ultimately be redeemed.
"We, the member congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association, covenant to affirm and promote:
The inherent worth and dignity of every person;
Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;
Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;
A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
The goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all;
Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part."

My brother was attending one of their churches once. I went once visiting him and they were blessing pets. I'm not making this up. :)
They are unique in that there is no creed they believe or have their members adhere to. When I went, there were Krishna figures next to pictures of Jesus Christ. Hence, "Universal."
They exist because of a merge between the "Universal" church (universal as in pantheistic) and the Unitarian church, which Thomas Priestly, Thomas Jefferson's spiritual advisor, was a patriarch.
Together, they are generally monotheistic (one god, the unit, not the trinity), but you do find people who believe in multiple god concepts. Most unitarians I've met are either deists or atheists who believe in a god concept.
It's known for being liberal -- presiding over gay marriages, its members supporting abortion rights, etc.

Personally, what I have read, seems to me they are trying to embrace all the good beliefs in EVERY church, including the belief that when a person dies, all go to a temporary place and then go to Heaven...and I do mean ALL...unsaved and all.
My first reaction? When you meet a person that tries to be like EVERYONE else just so they are "popular"....
Enticing, but, just that...it entices but has no "meat" or "substance" to it.
Sorry...you asked lol
Peace be with you :)
*LOL just had a thought as I was leaving this question: Their beliefs are so GOOD...embraces ALL...ok....If it was "TRUTH", then no man should have anything bad to say about it if it was the Faith Jesus spoke of....however, if that would be true, then why would the Bible have to warn us about everyone whom would be against us for our belief...even killing us? I mean, hey, this praticular church accepts EVERYONE into Heaven, etc.! What would be wrong with that?!
Think about it :)
