I shouldn't need to clarify, but has there been anything prophecized in the Bible which then came true, and is recorded as fact by an outside source?

The less vague the better.

Look at all the floods. Look at what is happening in the Middle East. Look at the volcanic eruptions, the predictions of Nostradamus that are coming true, etc.

The problem with Bible prophesy outside of the Bible is its all based on "the sun will rise tomorrow" type prophesies...
Any civilization will go through a period of prosperity, and eventual decline. When you consider that the only "solid" prophesies are either something like, "the people will turn their backs on the lord, and they will suffer great turmoil" or "Christians will get dissed," well, of COURSE they're gonna suffer at some point, that's life!
Of course they're gonna get persecuted SOMEWHERE, not everybody believes that crap!
Or the prophesies of revelations...They're so whacked out and vague that CHRISTIANS can't even decide if they're referring to something that has already happened or if its all still on the way...

SOPHIE!!! He said prophesies that weren't fulfilled WITHIN THE BIBLE ITSELF! Every one of those events happened while the Bible was still being written...The nation of isreal will have a world-wide impact? They had a worldwide impact when they took over israel! (The known world as they defined it at the time,) And how does something that general count as a prophesy? Thats like saying "Americans will affect the world economy!" The only thing that you mentioned that relates to the present (#10 "His word will be remembered FOREVER,") IS NOT SHOWN TO BE TRUE YET, "forever" is a very long time, and I would venture to say that it ain't over just yet...

People....When someone "predicts" that a temple will be rebuilt, ITS ONLY BECAUSE THATS WHAT HAPPENS TO EVERY TEMPLE, EVER! Take any temple thats been around for more than a couple hudred years...It burns, or somebody tears it down...Then somebody (often of a different denomination, say like christians replacing Jews,) BUILDS ANOTHER TEMPLE ON THE SAME SPOT BECAUSE THE LOCALS BELIEVE ITS HOLY GROUND!!!

People will see visions and dream dreams...And I make this prediction, Paris Hilton will make an @ss of herself YET AGAIN. Does that make me a prophet?

To "Not Perfect..." This guy is asking a legitimate question...When you say Jesus predicted something that happened in 33 A.D. you do realize that the Gospels weren't actually written untill around 40 years AFTER the time that history places the time of the crucifixion, aren't you? So he could have "predicted" A LOT of things "in the bible," and had uncanny accuracy for about 40 years "after" his death now couldn't he?

Well, of course. Like all the Jews from other countries swarming back into Israel since the winning of the 6 -day war in June 5 - 10 in 1967. The prophecy is in Old Testament. EVERYone thought the speaking of Israel as a nation was absurd in scriptures because it wasn't a nation for thousands of years. But... in June 1967, in six days, it became a nation again.
Now, Jews from all over the world are coming home. It is also amazing that since then, Hebrew was a DEAD language and now it is revived and taught again in Israel and is fluently spoken among the Jewish people.
I wish I could tell you more things precisely, but one I know for sure is that the scripture speaks of the "anti-christ" going into the temple; into the holy place and declaring himself to be god. Well, there is no Jewish temple today, but in our travels to Israel and to Jerusalem, there is a Temple Mount Society that has EVERY musical instrument made and ready, every item to the detail that was ever used before in the last Temple of Jehovah..., and it is guarded with soldiers and some of the priestly garments could not even be made until they found the correct way to make the dyes and patterns. The priests are already ordained and in training. There are thousands of golden cups and bowls and other items that are ready the moment it is time to build again. The "red heifers" are being raised in the United States for sacrifice by the priests.
To me, this is all about fulfilling the scriptures of the Bible, today!
One thing also, is that the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah are still destroyed down by the Dead Sea.
Be sure that this tiny piece of real estate called Israel WILL be defended by Almighty God because He calls it His land..., and it actually is much more territory than has been realized. It actually embraces part of Syria, part of Egypt, part of what the world doesn't want to admit. It IS God's and He gave it to the children of Israel and if you are alive when Jesus returns, you will know it also.
The 'temple mount' is now occupied by a pagan temple, but the precise point where there was the threshing floor of Onan and King David bought that piece of ground/rock and it became Jehovah's Holy place.
It doesn't matter who occupies it now, it still belongs to God and He WILL defend it since Israel is restored to a nation.., the ARE His people.
The entire world situation, it's hatred of Israel and "for they know not why", is precisely fulfillment of prophecy in the Bible.
The great "battle of armagedeon".., the battle waged in the valley of Megido" well, the actual battle won't be waged there, the gathering of nations will be there and the battle will be waged over JERUSALEM..., the city of God.., the place from which Jesus Christ will rule and reign the millinnial world.

The prophet Ezekiel wrote circa 573 B.C. in Ezekiel chapter 37 about the rebirth of the nation of Israel which occurred May 15, 1948.

Jesus told His disciples about the destruction of Herod's temple ,circa 33 A.D. in Matthew chapter 24, verses 1 and 2. Titus and the 10th Roman Legion utterly destroyed the Temple, sacked Jerusalem, and exiled the Jewish people in 70 A.D.

These are two of the best known and verifiable Bible prophecies.

If you read some NDE experiences and some visions some have seen, it confirms prophet Joel's prophecy of people seeing visions. But the problem is that you may not believe. But just try read these two stories, please:

This dream is very significant,

Secondly, the destruction of the Jerusalem Temple was prophesied by Christ but never recorded in the Bible.
Also, the rebuilding of the second temple by Cyrus was prophesied by Isaiah. The first temple was destroyed by Babylonians, before Isaiah prophesied this. History also confirms the building of this temple by Cyrus.
May God bless you.

Psalm 137 is a prophesy against Babylon for capturing Jerusalem and taking the Jews into captivity. The end verse tells what is to come.
The Babylonians were destroyed subsequently, by the Medes and Persians.
The end of them is not recorded in the Bible, it is historical fact.

No. The ones that have are vague or likely prophecies, meaning that what happens can easily be interpreted as following or straying from prophecies, or is not anything that an intelligent person couldn't have guessed anyway...

way to many to list but here is a few. first is from chapter 2

Daniel

But there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and he has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what is to happen in days to come; this was the dream you saw as you lay in bed.
29

To you in your bed there came thoughts about what should happen in the future, and he who reveals mysteries showed you what is to be.
30
To me also this mystery has been revealed; not that I am wiser than any other living person, but in order that its meaning may be made known to the king, that you may understand the thoughts in your own mind.
31
"In your vision, O king, you saw a statue, very large and exceedingly bright, terrifying in appearance as it stood before you.
32
The head of the statue was pure gold, its chest and arms were silver, its belly and thighs bronze,
33
4 the legs iron, its feet partly iron and partly tile.
34
While you looked at the statue, a stone which was hewn from a mountain without a hand being put to it, struck its iron and tile feet, breaking them in pieces.
35
The iron, tile, bronze, silver, and gold all crumbled at once, fine as the chaff on the threshing floor in summer, and the wind blew them away without leaving a trace. But the stone that struck the statue became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.
36
5 "This was the dream; the interpretation we shall also give in the king's presence.
37
You, O king, are the king of kings; to you the God of heaven has given dominion and strength, power and glory;
38
men, wild beasts, and birds of the air, wherever they may dwell, he has handed over to you, making you ruler over them all; you are the head of gold.
39
Another kingdom shall take your place, inferior to yours, then a third kingdom, of bronze, which shall rule over the whole earth.
40
There shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron; it shall break in pieces and subdue all these others, just as iron breaks in pieces and crushes everything else.
41
The feet and toes you saw, partly of potter's tile and partly of iron, mean that it shall be a divided kingdom, but yet have some of the hardness of iron. As you saw the iron mixed with clay tile,
42
and the toes partly iron and partly tile, the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile.
43
The iron mixed with clay tile means that they shall seal their alliances by intermarriage, but they shall not stay united, any more than iron mixes with clay.
44
In the lifetime of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed or delivered up to another people; rather, it shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and put an end to them, and it shall stand forever.
45
That is the meaning of the stone you saw hewn from the mountain without a hand being put to it, which broke in pieces the tile, iron, bronze, silver, and gold. The great God has revealed to the king what shall be in the future; this is exactly what you dreamed, and its meaning is sure."
46
Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell down and worshiped Daniel and ordered sacrifice and incense offered to him.
47
To Daniel the king said, "Truly your God is the God of gods and Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries; that is why you were able to reveal this mystery."

which were the kingdom of Medes, the Greeks . the Romans and finally the stone cut away was Jesus kingdom.

all these prophecey were uttered againtist the great nation of Tyre.

Isaiah 23:1
Jeremiah 25:18,22
Ezekiel 28:1-10
Amos 1:9-10
Zechariah 9:2-4
all told hundreds of years before it was attacked and destroyed by 2 different kings like foretold.
