Yes I've kept it and if one of the girls likes it enough to wear to her wedding then I'd lovingly give it to her.

I don't have a daughter but I did keep my wedding dress. I always figured I could give to my granddaughter or something. Then I remind myself that my mom wanted me to wear her wedding dress and there was no way. It was old fashioned and so not my style. Her wedding dress just sits in the closet waiting to see the light of day again. So I guess my wedding dress will probably do the same thing. Every bride wants their own dress.

I've been married 30 1/2 yrs. I still have my wedding dress.
Our daughter is getting married in Jamaica at Xmas. My dress had long sleeves and wasn't suitable. She just bought the most gorgeous halter wedding gown the other day. So I guess it will continue to take up space in my closet

I kept mine. Didn't have a daughter... and the style is so different than today's styles, if I had had a daughter she probably wouldn't want to wear it lol. I tossed mine about 3 years ago after it sitting in the garage in a box for 24 years. We had divorced 4 years earlier, so what did I want it for?

My second wedding dress, I still have, I've worn it twice. It's not a formal wedding dress, but a very fancy dress. I wore it to my wedding, and to my husband's daughter's wedding.

My wife passed away but I still have the dress she wore when we were married. I would have loved to hand it down to a daughter but since I have 3 sons, that doesn't seem to be a possibility... They have all married and the girls were all the wrong size for the dress to be an option...oh well, there is always the hope of a granddaughter....lol. But until then, it sits in a box on the shelf.

My mom kept hers. It was a simple sort of renaissance styled dress in white linen. My mom would let me play in it when I was a kid inside the house.

I like it, but due to time the seams need to be reinforced and it now has some bad stains because of a severe water leak we had before we moved to our current house. So, it sort of just sits in my closet. It's a pity because I haven't been able to get the stains out fully. I was thinking of dying it burgundy and using it in my own wedding with a corset or something to make it a bit more dressy, but we'll see.

Either way, I have fantastic memories of that dress. For my own, we'll see. ;)

I am keeping my dress-we got married in May in the States, and will have a party in our backyard in Germany this July, so I am lucky and can wear it again. I also plan to pull it out every single anniversary, and if my figure stays the same, I will wear it. People will give us funny looks when out to dinner, but who cares?
Save it for my daughter-why not? My niece, who is 10 wants me to keep it for her, but hopefully, years and years from now, she will want a dress of her own. I don´t want her to get married too young!

Yes. It'll be 30 years on the 26th. I have 3 daughters. They are all size O though and I'm a 10. LOL Maybe the next generation will be bigger.

I kept my dress. My daughter can use it if she fits it or wants to. But my mother kept her dress and I didn't wear it because the styles have changed so much! So it will be an option for my daughter but might not work out.

I DID keep my wedding dress, but I hope my daughter will be too tiny to fit into it (I'm pretty thick). I do have my grandmother/mother's wedding dress that I plan to pass on.

I never had a wedding dress. I got married in jeans. I don't have those jeans anymore.
