A lie that's got some whiskers at this site is that atheists are evil and demonic and perhaps in league with satan. It’s true, alas, that a few of us here are loud and wide-of-the-mark. Me, I consider my own self and the path my long life has taken, and, gosh, it just ain't so that “all” atheists are like that, it just ain't. I haven't counted up, and I shall not, but I am of a mind that most atheists marry, bring up great kids, brush the dog, take the garbage out, watch football on the idiot box, and drink a cool one now and then--just like everybody else. I, for one, do not spend my day thinking only about god and all that; for one thing, at 71 and disabled, I'm still in the warm embrace of my life's work, the classical theatre. I'm working 12- and 14-hours every day and seven days of every week. Let me tell you, my main man Will Shakespeare ain't for sissies. But he did die a Catholic.

Quote, "The worst moment for an atheist is when he is really thankful, and realizes he has no one to thank."
I thank the persons who made it possible. I am a professional actor, and I always have armies of people to thank: the director, the playwright, the stage manager, my dresser, the light man, in these days of new technology, the geniuses who work magic. What I do not thank is an invisible god from the Bronze Age. Hey, it's the 21st century.

So, do you feel satans are more active with the human females these days?
Remember, If you know that Sun is in the sky, you do not have to keep talking about it every now and then. If people have eyes, they will see. If people are blind, there is no use of your words!
But when you still keep talking, people know that you yourself are not convinced about the truth of your words!
It is said that if a lie is spoken 1000times, it is taken as the truth! So may be people keep talking so that one day, their lie will be taken as the truth!
This is a general rule. No hurts desired!
If anyone is hurt, please excuse!

I am a Christian and atheist are born of man and woman just like any one else. I have been on R & S for some time and rarely do I hear a statement like you say and if I did you sould see my comment right after it stateing they are wrong. I love atheist just as I love Christians, budist etc. your belief in God does not determine how I feel about you. just because we have a difference does not mean we cannot get along and have a great friendship. in the bible it tells wives to not nag at your unbelieving husbands they are to live a righteous life and maybe the husband will want the peace the wife has. but it also says who are they to know if they can bring them to Christ. meaning, nagging, spewing hatred, telling someone they are hellbound is not the way to bring someone to Christ. living the life of Christ being an example is the best thing we can do. so the next time you see a comment like that ask the Christian what commandment is second to loving God if the answer is anything other than to love one another then they are ignorant or lieing.

Before we come to earth, we all exist in the realm of god. There are spiritual advisers that talk too you, and convince you to go live a life on earth, so you can grow, and get to know your self better. There is a vile put over everyone of us blocking are memory of the spiritual world. Since this world is for learning, and spiritual growth, wouldn't that stop us from living a life, if we remembered the other world? Hardships, and mistakes are all part of the learning, and self reconziation process. Atheists are right when they say there's no god. In the universe, there is no god, there isn't even a god on earth. God doesn't even exist in the physical plain. So yes atheists are right when they say, there is no god. Religion is for remembering god, something to help the souls of believers cope with being away from god. Yes we are born atheists, in the fact that we don't remember god. Religion is just a reminder. If there was no religion, the human race would forget about god, and over hundreds of years, god wouldn't exist in are memory's in the physical plain. We would only be reminded once woken back up.

If atheists do not believe in God, they do not believe in Satan either. I appreciate you stating not "all" atheists are alike. Just as all Christians are not alike. I get so annoyed by the stereo-typing...I am agnostic, that works for me. I do not know nor care if God exists. I live my life doing the next "right" thing and whatever is next I will see when that time comes. All I have to worry about is Today, I live in the moment...Life has never been better!!!

Atheists are people born like all others who have their own thoughts as we all have the right to have. I believe that everyone has the right to believe as they want and not tell others what to think. I also believe that all people would be better off to treat every living thing with respect and hurt no other living creature. The Golden Rule of all life. Live and let live - we all know what is right but for some reason find it a chore to keep our big yaps closed when it comes to our belief systems. Great question - thanks for your well thought out comments - rock on!

Before I came on this site I thought atheists were evil ogres because that is what my grandma told me. Since I have been on this site, I have come to know that some atheists are very kind, considerate people. It is hard not to judge all atheists by the mean, nasty, disgusting spewing of hateful answers sometimes.
I don't want people to judge me because of a few "bad apples" in Christianity. It says in the Bible that we are to do unto others as we would have them do unto us" I want people to treat me well, so I have decided to weed out the bad and appreciate the good atheists.

All that may be true, but are you sure it's football they watch? I noticed that European atheists talk about football, but have no idea what a quarterback is. That makes it quite dificult to draw comparisons between Jesus, and Johnny Unitas...
While you're touring, check out the churches in America, and football, the way God wanted it (I'm refering to a Hail Mary Pass of course)

I'm a Christian and I DON'T think that aethists are evil. I'm just tired of them making fun of us and attacking us NON STOP on this yahoo site. Its immature and they are young and uneducated, they don't know how to debate properly, they don't do research and they make educated, intelligent people like you, look bad, so you get stuck 'holding the bag' so to speak - if you have any questions that you want to ask us Christians - I can assure you that some of us are very educated and will be happy to share our opinion with you, thank you for being honest, take care.

No, they are the same, and have the same chance for salvation. The only difference in Atheists and Christians is that Atheists haven't discovered who God is yet. It doesn't mean He loves them any less. They are usually more open to immoral things, since they don't feel there is a consequence to their actions.

You can't give your soul away. It does not belong to you. God doesn't care what you have done there is never to far away you can wonder from him and he won't take you back. He loves you a lot more that satan will cause satan does not love you at all, all he wants is for you to burn eternally with him.
