It is better to be safe than sorry. When a dog is hit by a car all might look ok from the outside but there could be internal injuries that only an exam and x-rays would uncover. If it were my dog I would definitely get her to the vet because it is the only responsible thing to do.
Just imagine how you would feel to wake up in the morning and find your dog dead, when a simple exam could have prevented it.

I had a dog that was hit by a car and lived but was left with neurological problems. His whole personality changed and he was no longer the dog I had before the accident. I still loved him and lived woth the problems, ie biting me when he was scared and all my work at housebreaking just went out hte window. He was taken to the vet immediatly and the vet said there was nothing wrong with him. The vet was wrong. It cut his lifespan short and like I said it changed him. He dug out from under his fence. Please have adaquate means of keeping your dog out of harms way and take him to the vet now. Think of how much better you will sleep tonight.

It is considered animal abuse not to take an animal to the Vet if it has been hit by a car. You need to take her to the vet NOW.

If the cost of a vet trip is greater than the value of your dog's well being under semi-trivial circumstrances, times four, carry the five, plus two-and-a-half equals the answer you seek.

Take her immediately! The vet needs to check for broken bones, lacerations, internal bleeding, etc...

Take her now!

Well, if you were hit by a car, and you lived, but you seemed okay...would you still go to the hospital? Common sense dear, common sense.

It would be a good idea just to make sure that there are no internal injuries. Or broken bones that you overlooked.
