Yes love is worth everything. This world needs to have more of it. But so many are so afraid to love they get caught up in the nasty parts of the world. Open your hearts and love to all no matter what and it will come back million time fold.....

Worth what exactly?

worth the pain that comes from being less than true and honest with who you are? That's not love.

Worth fighting for? yes

Love is always worth it. Love involves taking a risk with someone, even if it means you could be hurt. If the love is real, then the risk involved should be weighed against the relationship itself. If it is a toxic relationship, then while the love might be worth it, loving that person doesn't mean you have to be a doormat - you can love someone enough to avoid being around them and putting you both in a position of unhappiness. If it is an unhappy relationship, then the love is worth it as long as the other person is willing to put forth the effort to try to make it work. If only one person is willing, then even though you have love for that person, it is better to step away and protect yourself, thereby defining your boundaries with that person and demonstrating that you are worthy of being properly loved in return. If it is a new relationship or a relationship that hasn't yet started and you love someone, then by all means, it is worth it, until such time as the other person demonstrates that it isn't worth it. If it is love toward a child, it is ALWAYS - I repeat, ALWAYS worth it. If it is love toward a family member, it is always worth it because these people are family, and family ought to stick together. If the family member engages in hurtful behavior however, the love for them is worth it, but again, I refer to the doormat example - step away so that you are not put in the position of being someone's doormat.

Love is always worth it. When one truly loves another, they are willing to take a risk of being hurt. That doesn't mean however that they have to allow themselves to be continually hurt. If one is continually hurt by someone they love, then they ought to take a step back and look at the relationship objectively to see if the outcome of having a relationship with a person is worth the ups and downs of such a relationship.

"There are only four questions of value in life, Don Octavio. What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same: only love. "

Johnny Depp in "Don Juan deMarco"

I would say substantially the same thing, but never be able to express it better than that. :-)

Yes, it is.
I have been hurt really badly by people whom I loved, but like the saying goes "It is better to have loved and lost, then never to have loved before".
And from the song "I Hope You Dance"..."Loving might be a mistake, but it's worth making"

Being loved, and loving is one of the most worthwhile things in my opinion.

Love is always worth it.
Desire is sometimes worth it.
Expectation (the "you owe me" kind) is never worth it.

Love is the basis of God's relationship with humanity and yes, that is worth 'it' whatever 'it' is.
