Even if you turn your life over to Jesus Christ, and He forgives the eternal penatly for your sin, you'll still have to pay the penalty, whatever that is, here on earth.
Just like David Berkowitz, who will spend the rest of his life in prison, paying for the crime of murder. Even though he became a Christian, while in prison.
