Age has nothing to do with this.Nor does time. You have your mom in your subconscious which usually means unfinished Business .I wish you had said how you feel when you woke up.Does it make you happy or sad? The clue to this probably lies there.Try to see if there is a joint meaning do any of the dreams have a common thread? Sounds like they are all over the place. Some times it can be some thing as simple as the holidays are coming up and so that is triggering a memory dream this can also be triggered by a certain smell.Start keeping a private journal = in this journal write what you did in that day that stood out,if nothing special ok but see what is the trigger for the dreams. Please know that a mom is one of the most important people you will ever have in your life so there is nothing wrong with dreaming about her.Any how keep your journal after each dream and soon you should be able to find your answers. Also remember to write how you feel after you awake from each dream.Hope this helps unravel some of this for you.

There are several reasons as to why you may be dreaming of her. It would help to know a bit more about the dreams contents, however, to be able to say what exactly may be going on. As it has been pointed out, it is possible that there is something she might wish to convey to you from the spirit world. Have you done a lot different lately, such as a move, or are you contemplating doing something different and are not sure which way to go? She may be coming to you to tell you her advice on such matters. Also, as it was pointed out here too, you may simply be missing her, or have unresolved feelings that you are trying to work through in your subconscious.
Some psychotherapists believe that everyone you dream of is but a reflection and representation of yourself. In what ways do you see yourself in your mother? Are some of the things she is doing or saying in the dream something you yourself would say or do? Is she showing characteristics in your dream that you have? if so, look more into the dreams contents to see what it is that you may be trying to tell yourself through the symbol of your mother.

Yes. From my experience, for people open to it; their relationship with their loved ones can alter and become active through dreams.
I just spoke with a friend the other day, who'se dad visits her at dreamtime. She's so grateful for that connection and considers it visitations with him.
Over time, they went from her just seeing him to actually speaking with him. So, they are developing a bond of a different sort.
I say, enjoy them. Nevermind the naysayers. Really, nevermind them. Even if it's yourself. You can break the connection that way, and would you really want that?

Some people might think that she is trying to get a message to you from the other side. Or maybe you feel guilty about something re: your Mom and your sub-conscious is trying to work it out. The dreams may hold the clues for you.

In heathenry, we teach that no one is truly dead who is remembered by their descendants.
These dreams are the life your mother has NOW. When she was alive physically, she didn't need to be in them. Now she does.

She may be visiting you. Does she speak? Pay attention to the dream. Write it down if you can remember. She may be giving you messages.

Perhaps it is because we are near the time when the dead will be raised and all will be judged before the throne of God.
