it is the time when you just want to put your head in a pillow and scream.... and just sit there and rot.... its ok... you will live. Its not the funnest time especially once you start your cycle but, its not the end of the world! You will still live on! Congrats!

The word is puberty. It marks the onset of adolescence. If you mean your first period, I think that word in menarche.
