Hi:
Realistically, none of us here in ya can answer that question. Bipolar must be dx by a doctor and only a doctor can make that diagnosis.
But we all here can give opinions and experiences.
You should make an appointment with you doctor for an appointment and discuss w/ him/her everything you feel, hold nothing back. Holding anthing back will not help you. So please on monday am, call and make an appt. Bipolar is not something you want diagnosed lightly, it is very serious.
I also have Bipolar and can share with u my experiences, or just listen, or what ever, sometimes it is just good to talk. my contact info is in my profile, you may use that at any time. I have websites and information that I have collected over the years and I am more than happy to share anything that I have.
Apologize to your girlfriend, and explain if you wish or wait until u see the doctor, whatever makes u feel better. But she does deserve an apology.
You take care and I'm here if you ever want to talk
Be Safe and Be Well

You just described how the majority of the human feels for the most part. Just maybe not to the extreme you are describing. If you can't get a handle on these things or they are causing you problems in regard to excessive pain, then get a real diagnosis from a counselor or doctor. Try to remember that these feelings won't go away no matter what meds you take or how long you go to counseling. What will change in time is your ability to deal with the feelings you already have. Good luck to you.

Who said you were Bipolar, were you diagnosed for this and, are taking medication for this, or is this what you think, your own diagnosis or excuse, for what your doing?
Bi polar is a disease that can be very dangerous both to the person with it, and the people around him/her. My sister was diagnosed with it and everyone around her, has to keep their eye on her. She has tried to commit suicide more then once, she goes through depression and has fits of anger not caring who or why she has them.
Her medications keep her more or less on an even keel so she can live in society and be normal.
If, in fact you are bi polar maybe you should see the doctor about a change in your meds.

It could also be an Anxiety disorder or just an expression of desperate actions. Here is a link for you to read about some disorders to make it easier to match up what you think is going on, then print it out and take it to your General physician. Best of luck I hope you feel better!

What you described sounds like you may be bi-polar. I would very, very strongly encourage you to contact and visit a psychiatrists. Bi-polar is a serious matter that is very treatable with lithium carbonate or anyone of several other drugs options open for use.
Do not wait about doing something you are becoming dangerous to yourself and others.

Please, Please go see a professional about your worries and what you think is wrong with you. This can be a very serious issue if you really are an untreated bi-polar person. It is dangerous to both yourself and others around you. I am telling you this as both a person who is Bi-Polar and one who has a Bi-Polar child (who is an adult now). Please get to a doctor to get checked out and if it is the problem then they can treat you to where you live on a more balanced level.

We can't give you a diagnosis here. What you do need to do is go to a doctor pronto and get referred to a psychiatrist. Or you can find a therapist and try to work out things that way. Either way, you need help. Something is going on and it needs to be treated. I wish you luck.
