Probably not, but you can lose some acuity if an infection goes untreated. If it persists more than a day or two, you should see a doctor.

I dont think you can go deaf from an ear infection because I have had tons of them in my life. They can be quite painful and when you have them you cant really hear as good but it just gets worse if you dont go to the doctor. Just go to the doctor and he or she will give you ear drops and those little white wicks to make sure the medicine goes down into the ear canal all the way. Hope this helps!

As long as you go to a doctor and get some antibiotics to clear up the infection you will be fine. An ear infection is basically just a build of of fluid in the ear canal which enables bacterial growth this causes the infection. So just visit a doctor and get some medicine and you will be fine.

probably not so just go to the doctors and have them to a look if u do they will most likely recommend some antibiotics to kill the infection (i should know i had a double ear infection with a sore throat) (in other words you'll live)

depends where the infection is. If it gets inside the cochlea - thats really bad.
If it is pressure from puss pushing on the tampanic membrane that can rupture - but they can put in an ear shunt.
I'd see a doctor to be sure.
My mum put warm oilve oil in my ear when I was akid for a homeopathic cure - but why risk it?
good luck.

No, go to your local drugstore and get some ears drops. If you think you need to visit the doctor, go ahead. There is a slim chance you will deaf.

Yes, but it's not an ear infection. Did you see what happened to Mr. Chekhov in "Star Trek II"?
