can nascar fans bring video cameras with them to a nascar event, or just regular flash cameras?

i'm going to the milwaukee mile june 23, and i want to make it an experience i won't forget, and would like to bring my cameras. one's a snap shot camera, and the other's a video camera.

i see fans at nascar events with video cameras. so do you think they'll allow it or take them away?

i understand they might have copyright issues.

I have taken my digital camera to several different tracks and all they do is look in my cooler bag.

I've seen people with them at the race tracks all the time..Now if this is a special event at the track or a special function then you might not be able to bring one in.. I went to the celebrity red carpet thing they had for the california race out here in sept up in hollywood, and they did not allow video or any cameras inside...but the fans that were out on the street area that did not have tickets or VIP passes to get in were able to take pictures as the people were showing up..It just depends on the event....

No but i suggest getting a good regular camera that looks like a camera but is also a video camera.I do it all the time. ;)

I've carried both types to Talladega and nobody said a word.
With the compact size of video cameras take it with you.

I doubt it'll be a problem. I took my camera with video capabilities to the IRL race earlier this month and no one said boo.
