WAH...
Did any of you Stewart fans actually watch the replay of the incident. Busch had the position on Tony and Tony put him into the wall. Later on Stewart admitted to have causing the accident. He was upset that Busch wasnt giving him enough room....last time i did check this was racing. And Busch was racing him hard so what.

Secondly no one cares that Stewart can put Truex into the wall at Bristol for "trying to stay on the lead lap" or Intentionally wrecking Kenseth at the 2006 Daytona for getting him loose going through the turn and not even touching him, after complaing how everyone was driving like Idiots. I mean come on just cause Stewart is popular, by no means makes him right under these circumstances. Was Busch right no not at all, but all Tony had to do was let off the gas or tap the brakes and this whole incident could be avoided.

Thirdly there have been worse incidents on Pit Road i remember a couple years back after the race cars spent other cars out as the race ended on Pit Road, and this wasnt dangerous, nothing happened to those drivers just went and talked to Helton and the Guys. So Busch was in the wrong but doesnt deserve to be bashed as bad as he is

Come on Guys I know you guys are fans but you cant be that Naive

Some people are so ignorant why would Tony Stewart have been penalized? he was not the moron that almost ran someone over while he was throwing a fit in pit lane I think Kurt Busch should have been suspended for at least Poconos I guess all the nascar drivers are gonna have to watch out for the two idiot Busch brothers considering they just wrecked each other a couple weeks ago so what did that tire changer do to Kurt Busch anyways? the most Stewart should have got was a parking but rubbins racing and that's all he did the pit fiasco was another story

Tony didn't do anything wrong. There is no rule saying you have to give way to somebody trying to pass you. Unless you are a lapped car and the flagman gives you the flag to give way for faster traffic. If they are both on the same lap fighting for position, that's racing.

He said he could have let up and given him the position, but what goes around comes around. Kurt never gives way for anybody else so why would somebody else give him way.

The fine wasn't for what happened on the track. The fine was for what Kurt did in the pits. It was an unsafe action. And if you go reread what Kurt said you'll see that he admitted that he let the situation get the best of him and he shouldn't have done it.

Because Tony didn't do anything wrong. Kurt moved up into him, Tony was just holding is line. You don't have to give up your position.
And if drivers got penalized for wrecking other drivers then JPM would have been penalized about 5 times already.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Nascar loves the Chevy's. And Tony is always hitting someone or saying something stupid, he's one of the golden boys, not only is his car mysteriously wonderful every week, he can say and do whatever he wants. The whole thing is getting ridiculous with Chevy. Why are they not dominant in any other division like Nextel Cup? I think it's because Gibbs, and Hendrick pay old Nascar a little more than everyone else to make sure they have the cars. I mean their drivers are good, there is no disputing that, but it's a joke that they have enjoyed the dominance they have this year.

He may have started the wreck just as any other drivers did. But, its all racing. Me wanting Stewart fined is like saying Raines should be fined for wrecking Jeff. He actually showed sprtsmanship by not retaliating or throwing a fit. As much as a loose cannon he is, he should be given Kurts 100 points for keeping cool.

Why would Tony be penalized?? Because he didn't give? Tony was racing for a position that he didn't want to give up. Kurt got a Little loose and hit Tony, and wreck himself. Kurt took it in his own hands and drove like a moron down pit road. Tony didn't react. that's why Tony didn't get penalized!!

2 drivers after the same spot on the track. Both on same lap.One gos under one high(perferedline). The driver that goes down attempts to move upandruns into the car in perfered line. The car in lower line atfault.
Penalty,no one it was a dumb move so it is a racing deal.
Being an idiot on pit road and endangering a crewman, penalize the heyell out of him.

Nascar has a bad taste for certain drivers which is clearly instigated by car owners freindships with certain nascar higher up's!they have had it out for Kurt since his brush with the law 2 years ago in phoenix. 2 yellow flags were thrown for debris this year while kurt was on a green flag pit stop and running up front!!! Come on,give me a break! If GORDON,STEWART,OR JOHNSON were in the pits they would have waited to throw the flag and you know it!!!! These three guys can do no wrong in the eyes of nascar because of their huge fan base!! It's all about the money!!!! Sad,but true!

Here we go, blaming poor Tony. I'm convinced that NASCAR fans just want to hang out and bash Tony for simply being who he is. Stuff happens on the track, and drivers take it differently. Kurt's reaction was too much, and that's why HE is to blame. Tony can't be the problem for everything...jeez! And yes, NASCAR can penalize whatever car make they want.

Tony is still the man.
