No, it's a nutrition drink. Don't let the name or advertisements fool you. Nothing in it "melts the pounds off."

Slimfast is even bad for people over 18. If you don't teach yourself to eat right, you'll just gain all of the weight back when you stop the diet.

I suggest Fig Newtons or Nutri-grain. I would stay away from anything like Slimfast even if you ARE over 18. Nutri-grain makes me fuller than I really am :)

i dont' think so...i eat one a day...some days that's all i get to eat...i work in an er and sometimes no breaks...slimfast has a lot of nutrition....but a lot of calories. i wouldn't say it's bad for you though.
