They're human beings!!! And people on your side of the issue have the audacity to wonder why they're called racist.

They saw the writing on the wall, when the American people spoke up on the first vote. Both the Dems and Republicans that voted for the original bill or the compromised bill, can kiss their seat good bye as soon as they face their next election. These politicians do not understand how the American people feel about illegal immigration. Diane Fiestein (please excuse my spelling) stated that San Francisco was 80% in favor of the amnesty bill. Yet, both CNN and Fox News polls have said that at least 80% of SF residents are against the bush amnesty plan.Truth is, even some of your most liberal types are against illegal immigration, because of the impact on the American worker.

Let's hope so, this was a poorly designed bill. As for deporting them all I doubt it will be possible, I would instead try to get a large chunk of them. Possibly keep a percentage of them here that can speak English, have at least a HS education, and hold down a job.
But I wouldn't call them savages.

Nope!!! The reality is quite the opposite and sooner or later we will legalize them. The problem is the number: we will no longer face 12 mil, but probaly 25 mil. Keep in mind, you bild up a 10 foot fence, they will come with 11 foot ladder.
There is a solution, though!! Let's start to pay $45.00 bucks per a burger...

If Reid, Bush, Kennedy and McCain re-introduce the bill as they are threating to do America -
As Don Feder said so well:
If the Comprehensive Immigration Reform bomb is detonated, you can begin your journey to bilingualism by practicing the following phrase - "Hasta la vista, America.!"

The senate has not woken up. In 2008, when the presidential election is ablaze in mudslinging, illegal immigration will still be an issue for the cadidates to use in their favor. Just watch.

I hope so but we need to now demand that our laws be enforced, we can not let up. By the way I saw an article where it may in fact be resurrected (the bill).

I agree with jkh! Stiffen fines for hiring them, deport them and enforce all our existing laws.
