I'd say it already started...the pre-lude was 9/11 attack on America. Act I was the US invasion of Iraq. Act II will be a middle east conflagaration around Israel,Palestine,Syria,Iran axis. Act III - while US is busy defending Israel, North Korea will take the opportunity to invade the South and China will takeover Taiwan...leading to nuclear showdown similar to the Cuban Missile Crisis. Act IV - will be the breakdown of the "system", loss in confidence of US economy, long gas lines at the pump, Constitutional rights abolished Act V - the end...who knows how it will end, but Einstein said World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones....

Lichtenstein will probably be the one to start it,.....it's always the quiet ones you have to worry about.

I don't know but I am willing to bet that Israel will be the flash point - It won't be Israel that "starts " it but it will somehow be over Israel

I say this because Israel seems to have polarized the world like no other nation on earth

Half think Israel can do no wrong they are god's people and they are just great

The other half think Israel can do nothing right - They are the evil of the world -

There is no middle ground they are never just a nation or just a people - They are at all times thought of as a god or devil type

Not a lot of room for discussion and reasonable thought here

This could likely be avoided if Israel could go from god/devil to just people - But so far no progress has been made on either side so -

The likely hood of the war being over Israel is pretty good


I think it is stupid - they are people not god not Satan - people

Some are really nice some are jerks and most are in the middle and want to pay off a mortgage and go to work without getting caught in traffic

Yes, it will be Israel attacked by Iran. Israel will retaliate, which will cause the Russians to attack Israel, and as the United States is an ally of Israel ....

It won't be the 'extermination of the human race', for what we in the West forget is that we're only a part of the population of the world. There won't be many strategic warheads falling on Africa or on South America, because most people (quite rightly) see those regions as housing no real threat to the rich Northern hemisphere. I don't know where China will come into it, though. As for Western Europe, most of it is in Nato, so we'll be a target for Russia, especially as the UK's nuclear arsenal would be used to defend any attack on the United States.

I reckon between one billion and one and a half billion dead in the initial 'blasts'. So lots of humans left, a few more hundred million will die over the following weeks, mainly of radiation sickness or suicide, but humanity will go on.

Whether we'll learn from our monstrous (and murderous) folly, is another question.

I'm not sure. But Bush is certainly gearing up for it like he is certain it is in our future. He is provoking many countries into militarization and nuclear proliferation. In my opinion, he may have already started it.
