You can tell your sister you think he's cute. But really, I think you should find someone else. Since you don't see him much, this is more an attraction thing and not like a real romance. Because he is semi-family (even if not related), I'd stay away from anything more like dating him.

I wouldn't say it's wrong to like him but the family ties are way too close (even though it's not blood relations). Just say you got married...then your half sister would also be your sister-in-law. Sounds a lot like Springer material.

If he's her half-brother, not her step-brother you ARE genetically related and you and he are part of an "extended family." I would tread lightly here and since you never see him, why even bother? There are plenty of other boys who you can relate to without questioning the propriety of the situation.

There's going to be alot of situations in your life where you'll have to choose:
a) do what's best for you & follow your heart
b) do what you think everyone else will approve of
Don't pay attention to what others might think, go for it.
At the end of the day, you have to live with YOU.
Make sure that the decisions you make are in YOUR best interests not others.
