i'ma Christian too but the rest of you can't go around sayyin "Yeee, if you accept Christ you'll be saved!" It's not that simple.

First off, Christ decides who's saved and who's not and garunteed a ton of Christians are gonna be dissapointed when they realize that just cause Jesus died for our sins doesn't mean we can keep sinning... and every Christian i know sins.

Secondly, accepting Christ is a good first step but you gotta follow through and become an intrinsically good person and restrain from sinning...

I'm not 'speaking on Christs' behalf i'm merely pointing out that it takes abit more than just claiming that you accept Christ as your savoir.

Cause in that case anyone can be like "Yahh, i'm cool with Jesus, i'm saved" and then they turn around and start harassing someone for fun.

They gotta be abit more thorough.

Considering Jesus founded the Nazarenes also known as the Gnostics and Paul of Tarsus created the false religion of christianity- good question!
See:
http://one-faith-of-god.org/new_testament/apocrypha/nazarenes/nazarenes_0010.htm

On the basis of the truth that christianity has never properly represented the word of Jesus, only the deliberately distorted words of Paul, no christian who blindly follows Paul and refuses to read anything else such as the true gnostic gospels of Jesus cannot possibly speak on behalf of christ.

Well being in a christian family i can tell you that it's because we think we own the place. Our religion has ruined so many other religions like Paganism and what not. Priest also seem to think that 'Being gay is a sin". But there are only 10 commandments and they don't say that anywhere. PLUS, the bible does mention once or twice that God loves everyone. Our religious celebrations are soooo commericial now a days that it doesn't even count as a religious celebration anymore.

BUT we have to remember, not to be disrespectful but to be rational, the bible was written in a time when men ruled the world.

On top of that, the bible was written by the same people who believed that world was flat.

Christians also seemed to get worked up when they don't make the rules. And that's exactly why THEY make the rules because they are WAYYYYY to powerful in today's world.

EAT YOUR HEART OUT POPE BENEDICT!
That being said "i love you jesus"

When did your "science" catch up with the truth of the Bible? Only half a millennium ago many men believed the earth was flat. Many people thought Christopher Columbus would fall off the earth if he voyaged to far west in the Atlantic Ocean. The bible recorded the earth as being a circle.

Isaiah 40:22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

Many of the ancients believed that our planet was actually resting upon the backs of certain large animals, and some even believed that some large person, such as Atlas, was holding up planet earth. Then there were some who believed that planet earth was actually hanging from the sky by a large chain or rope.

Did the Bible-believers of yesterday believe such foolishness? Of course not, because Job 26:7 had already told them what to believe: "He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing."

To the OP...

You are talking about two different topics. It's true that intillectual knowledge alone is not the fruit of a saving faith. A God given saving faith will be evidenced by changes. But remember, the evidences don't cause salvation, they are the manifestations of Christ who is already in you, if He is in you.

Also...

John 20:23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained."

"This verse does not give authority to Christians to forgive sins. Jesus was saying that the believer can boldly declare the certainty of a sinners forgiveness by the Father because of the works of the Son if that sinner has repented and believed the Gospel. The believer with certainty can also tell those who do not respond to the message of God's forgiveness through faith in Christ that their sins, as a result, are not forgiven."

John 5:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

1 John 5:13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

The true Church consists of all believers and is a Spiritual Body headed by Christ. It's not an institution that finds it's roots in Babylon.

Peace

“We are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us” (2 Corinthians 5:20). An ambassador speaks on behalf of the one he represents. We are, therefore, entitled to speak on behalf of Christ in making that essential appeal to turn to God. We are not, however, entitled to go around condemning others. If we feel that they are taking the wrong course, then we have our instructions in the verse I have just cited. We have to urge them to turn to God.

If one reads the Bible attentively, one finds that the message is not once saved always saved, as some are teaching. Paul's letters are full of warnings: we are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling and we are to avoid the lures of Satan, as we walks around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. And if it were not possible for Christians to fall from grace, what would be the purpose of the white throne judgment? In 1 Cor 9 v. 27 Paul intimates that he feels the need to discipline himself thoroughly lest having brought so many to salvation he himself should fall away.

No, it is dangerous and unbiblical to claim that once we have made a commitment to Christ it doesn't matter what we do thereafter. Ambassadors are expected to behave impeccably in representing their country. As ambassadors for Christ we are called upon to do the very best we can to bring honour to His Name.

Christians at the instant are not acceptable, they're forgiven. Colossians 3:12-14 - for this reason, as God's chosen human beings, holy and dearly enjoyed, gown yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and staying power. undergo with one yet another and forgive in spite of grievances you have gotten against one yet another. Forgive because of the fact the Lord forgave you. And over a majority of those virtues placed on love, which binds all of them at the same time in acceptable harmony. consistently keep a funky head and a heat heart. God Bless!

Aren't you arguing against yourself? Are you not trying to speak for Christ as well?

Please don't be insulted. I am a believer in God also.....but I don't think that gives me the right to tell others how they must believe in Him or what action they need to take. God called me to him and I answered. The rest is a constant learning process....

The only Church Jesus ever founded, authorized, empowered, and eternally guaranteed ... which is the Catholic Church ... speaks for him.

Anyone who is separated from the Catholic Church in any way, ought to be rightly concerned for their ultimate salvation.

Everytime I see the bible is the "WORD" of God I crack up. How idiotic is that? If it was the word of God would there be inconsistancies? How small of a brain is required to believe that god would flood the earth?
