I know its a daily battle for me. Alot of times I am able to overcome it without telling anyone other than God, but sometimes I do need to talk to my brothers and sisters in Christ......It really depends on what I'm worried about. I know God is powerful enough to take it all away, but I think he wants us to go to our brothers and sisters in Christ in times of need. How do you deal with worry?

Just because we're Christians doesnt mean we don't struggle with the flesh

I would say in the same way. You have it right. Mutual support in times of need is one reason God created the church.

I am a little worried that you will reject my answer.

Seriously, there is nothing wrong with leaning on other brothers and sisters in the Lord for guidance, prayer and encouragement...we are not loners, but rather part of a many membered body.
God is not the author of worry which of course is a manifestation of the emotion of fear...
The more time spent in His presence, the less you will worry."Perfect Love casts out all fear"
Jesus said: "Do not worry about tomorrow . . . . Sufficient for the day is its own trouble". - Matthew 6:34

I would also consider having prayer said over you. God Bless

EDIT I have struggled with worry in the past as well. The battle of the mind is our greatest challenge, expecially,in the hour that we live...The Bible states that Men's hearts would fail them in seeing the things that are happening on earth.

I struggle with worry alot. The best way is just to take it to God. It's amazing how he can just make you feel better. Sometimes it may take longer than others for it all to work out, but it always does. The way I like to look at it sometimes is... We'll only be on this earth for a short while then us Christians will be in a better place!

I have concerns, but I give them to the Lord. We haven't been given the spirit of fear. But worry can become fear. What do we really need in this life? He won't let the righteous go hungry, or cause his children to go begging for food. Also He wants our concerns : 1Pe 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Yes, I have concerns and worry, but I don't let it really get me down. He knows what I need, before I need it. He created the universe, and I am expecting Him to raise me from death into everlasting life. Since this live is as a vapor compared to eternity, why should I worry.

Read your Holy Bible, the answers are there. God tells you not to worry. Worry is a sin. You can't change one hair on your own head. Keep studying and reading His word. You will find a peace that you have never known in the wisdom contained in it's pages.

Hi living, let me tell you about worring! I was and still do sometimes, have anxity attacks, worring is a sin, it is not putting our complete trust in God, Jesus. I prayed about these attacks and I was told by Jesus, that He was useing these to make me aware of the areas I was not trusting him in. So when I do have an attack I say " ok, Jesus what am I not trusting you about" He tells me. My sheep know my voice. The sheep know the Shepards voice. Now adays, I have more faith, and trust, so I don't have the attacks like I used to. I have learned to beleive that Papa God loves me so much that He never takes His eyes off me and wants to keep me safe and give me a good life. amen love ya sister in Christ, Keep Him Closer Than Skin.

A friends said to me in high school "worry never ever changes the outcome of anything". All is happening for a reason. Trust in Him at those moments.

I really don't worry at all anymore but if my mind begins to head in that direction I quickly ask God to alleviate all my anxious thoughts and imaginations.

Healthy detachment works!

I think there's a difference between concern and worry. I'm concerned about doing what's necessary to support my family, concerned about raising my son properly, concerned about what's happening in our world. I'm not worried however since I know God is right there with me when trouble arises. Lean on him and rejoice in all things. :)
