For True Christians ONLY? Do you know WHY....... They...... Mock..... Christ Jesus... and His Word... The Bible?

Do you know... IT WILL GET WORSE......?

(1Peter 4:12-13-14) Beloved, do not be astonished at the fiery trial = = which is to try you, = = as though a strange thing happened to you,

(1Pe 4:13) but rejoice according as you are partakers = = of Christ's suffering, = = so that when His glory shall be revealed, = = you may be glad also with exceeding joy.

(1Pe 4:14) If you = = are reviled for the name of Christ, = = you are blessed, = = because the Spirit of God and of glory rests on you. = = Truly according to them, = = He is blasphemed, = = but according to you He is glorified.

Here is the EVIDENCE.... http://www.thedcl.org/christia/f/foxejohn/maryters/martyrs.html

Same reason why Noah was mocked as he was building the ark. They had never seen rain before - let alone a huge ark in the middle of the desert where there's no bodies of water nearby?

They have never seen or experienced Jesus before - let alone expect HIM to be the Lord and Savior - - and HIM to come back? It's all NOT humanly possible because that is ALL their mind can grasp - - human understanding / logic - -

Bible says 1 Corinthians 1:27
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

It's sad really - coz they are given the opportunity everyday to hear about God just as the people were given the opportunity to get in the ark during Noah's time - - but of course they rely on science and what they think to be wisdom (worldly).

When Jesus returns the mockers will get exactly what the people of Noah's time got - - they drowned in their owned ignorance! Signs are everywhere - - but they just drive right through ignoring warning signs.

You know what? Ignorance REALLY is NOT BLISS!

I agree with you. Many in this room, who can't come up with enough ways to mock Christ, will be very shocked soon. I never understood how Christ would allow people to end up in hell, but now I see. It won't be Christ's doing. The decision is their crowning moment. They're almost eager.
Things are moving so swiftly and on so many different levels and so many different directions around the world.

This room feels like walking through muck and mire sometimes. And it's only going to get worst. I thank God for gently waking me up to the truth of His salvation and calling me away from my sinful past choices.
I think these mocker are enveloped in darkness and this darkness prevents them from seeing what we talk so easily about.
I wonder.
How dark does it have to get before they turn on a lamp?Instead they darken their world further with insults and mocking

It is written in the "last days", we would have those kind of people. Does this sound like the people of today? You bet it does!

2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2Ti 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

God said that He put his law into the hearts of every man. So the people who were listening to their hearts knew Jesus was the Christ, and the ones who were stuck on law only couldn't tell. That's why we need both as Christians: the Spirit and the Law. Paul writes about this as well. At the end of the day, it's not about religion, but about relationship. By that, I mean, God is not going to judge us based on our behavior only. He will look at whether or not our hearts are turned toward Him, and if they are, our behavior will automatically be effective. The world looks at this from the outside, but God is looking at the heart.

I don't mock anyone. I am a Buddhist and mocking causes suffering. So, where do I fall in to this line of thinking? I also don't understand who 'They' are and how this relates to 9/11. A very tragic event but there are tragic events taking place right now as we sit here and type.

I know why and I know it will get worse. Everything Jesus said would happen, is happening. And I know we can't stop witnessing the gospel of Jesus Christ, because the people who hate us are really not aware that their hatred comes from Satan. My heart aches for them, because I know where they will spend eternity if they die in their present spiritual state. God bless you and I will pray that those who hate God will repent and also receive His blessings.

gees as true christian......... would not be so arrogant as to mock any faith which believes in the one and only god .......... no matter which coat of many colours it goes under ........... ..and sure others who also worship same god do likewise ............ .but believe we should live the good life and do not as many true Christians who live there beliefs ...... do not need quotes from the bible every few minutes .......... we were taught absorbed the info and lead the good life and don't need it preached to us .............. .maybe the odd reminder doesn't go a miss...... .we go to church listen to the words of god and pray for good .......... ..what more do you want ............. things always get worse before they get better and sure Jesus would agree as son of god but ........... he is just the son of god ..not god and if you think that's taken the lords name in vain think again ..... god go with you I also love son of god and appreciate his sacrifice

Beliefs lacking rationality and supporting evidence are subject to mockery when they are imposed upon others.

Pointing out the absurdity of your religion is a public service. Much the same as a surgeon generals warning on cigarettes.

You mock those who mock your religion, and in so doing, become a mocker yourself.
