Camel's eye story...not about 144K

why would a god create a heaven when very few, especially "the rich" will enter?

Yes, silly. In the Bible it says something to the effect that it's hard for the rich to enter heaven, like a camel passing through the eye of a needle. In Jesus's day, Jerusalem's gates were in the shape of a needle and the camels would have to stoop their heads in order to pass underneath them to get into the city. What does that mean....one must be prepared...it's how you live your life, these numbers are all theoretical and symbolic.

It is true that 144,000 joint heirs with Jesus Christ will rule as kings over the earth.--Daniel 7:27; Rev. 5:9, 10; 14:1-3; 20:6. So, they will rule over the majority of mankind, whose hope is to live here on the earth.--Genesis 1:28. At Isaiah 45:18, "This is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the true God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited." Also, at Psalm 37:9-11, 29 "Evildoers themselves will be cut off, but those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will posses the earth. And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; and you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. But the meek ones themselves will posses the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. The righteous themselves will posses the earth, and they wil reside forever upon it."

You really do not understand the hope held out to Christians, do you?

If you study the Bible, you'll find the Kingdom message repeated throughout the OT & NT. In the quote below, this kingdom reign that has "dominion from sea to sea, until the moon is no more" -- who is that? It is Christ!

Then in Daniel chapter 7 also quoted, we again see the son of man getting Kingdom power, Yes Christ, but in 22 the Saints get this power too! Who are they going to reign?

In Revelation 5:10, we see that they shall reign over the earth.
-----------------
It is unfortunate that so much Bible illiteracy exists. The Saints, the Born Again, shall be kings and priests in heaven with Christ, from where these shall reign over a Paradisaic earth filled with Christians who worship God, Jehovah.

PS 72:1-8 O God, give Your judgment to the king, and Your righteousness to the king's son; 2that he may judge Your people with righteousness, and Your poor with judgment. 3Let the mountains and the hills raise peace to Your people. 4He shall judge the poor of the people in righteousness, and save the children of the needy; and shall bring low the false accuser. 5And He shall continue as long as the sun, and before the moon forever. 6He shall come down as rain upon a fleece, and as drops falling upon the earth. 7In His days shall righteousness spring up; and abundance of peace till the moon be removed. 8And He shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth (AB)

Daniel 13 . . . One like the Son of Man coming with the clouds of heaven, and He came to the Ancient of Days, and was brought near to Him. 14And to Him was given the dominion, and the honor, and the kingdom; and all nations, tribes, and languages, shall serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom shall not be destroyed. 15. . . 22until the Ancient of Days came, and He gave judgment to the saints of the Most High; and the time was fulfilled, and the saints possessed the kingdom.

The number of the saints is also discussed on some of these pages.

It isn't talking about the number that will go to heaven, it talks about the number of faithful men picked to lead the rest of the faithful. There are 12 tribes, 12,000 from each tribe. Times 12,000 by 12. What do you get? 144,000!!! There will be 12,000 from each tribe of Israel picked to lead the rest of their tribes.

If you read Rev. 7, it explains it. Verse 9 talks about a great multitude that couldn't be numbered, standing before the throne of God. These are also faithful people who believed in Christ and who have repented of their sins. They will all be in heaven with God.

Why do you think only 144,000 will pass through the gates?

It is clear there are more: "After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands." (Revelation 7:9)

The 144,000 are specifically Jewish believers who come to Christ during the Tribulation. 12,000 from each tribe.

Get out of the collective bed of Jehovah's Witnesses and stay out. Not good bed fellows. This is not God's word or correct doctrine. Ersatz thoelogy. Dangerous stuff. Completely untrue.

The hell with the 144K. Being fruitful multiplying is much better for everyone's 401K.

The number is for Jews only. And evidently only men. A larger question would be, if he really loves us so much, why would he send some of us to eternal damnation?

"He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins." Colossians 1:13,14.

That includes anyone who believes.
