I got a real bad sunburn a few years ago and I was off of work for over a week. Peeling will look more tan than before, but will still be red-ish. Use cold cream and drink alot of water.

Aspirin, if you can take it. It helps with the pain. Also put your Aloe cream in the fridge...Trust me on this one. If your are that burnt you will peel, and the new skin will be darker but is also susceptible to burning. Use common sense and some sunblock next time...P.S. never burn your feet, hurts like no tomorrow.

Got to the store like CVS or Rite Aid or any pharmacy and get some cooling gel but make sure it was tea tree oil in it because it sucks the sting out of the sunburn. After, you do that take some aspirin or advil or anything that has anti-inflammatory in it. Like advil, aspirin, aleve anything like that and take that every 6-8 hours. Advil works the best! Make sure you take it every 6-8 hours though.

you really need to get aloe vera gel.
apply it 2-3 times a day
and then it'll go away in about a week.
if you don't use gel - about 2 weeks with really bad peeling, stinging, pain.
you may turn a shade darker, but will soon go back to your regular color once the burn goes away.

calomine lotion works great!ans it is not sticky like most aloe vera potions are.And if you want to go about it a natural way, take a nice milk bath(just make sure you dry off with an old towel)worked for everyone i've told to do it.learned it from my great grandmother, who grew ip on the prarie, and then decided to move to the desert.
