I love your color choices of gray and buttercup yellow. I would paint the walls a nice shade of gray (I tend to like the new bolder shades available) so I would go with a kinda slate gray. Then all your accents can be a bright buttercup yellow. Maybe a nice fluffy gray rug next to your bed. Just a nice pull of both colors around. I think it would be really cheerful and mature at the same time! Have fun with whatever you decide!

The butter yellow colour would make your room feel a bit warmer, especially if you just get dull sunlight. I wouldn't use grey though, if you really like the grey, just use it for smaller places to add detail. Pink is ok if you are a girly girl. Although a light pink would be nice, candy pink is a young colour though.
If you go with either of the colours, you could stick with light bedding and curtains, with the yellow, you could try whites, creams, lemons, even blues. With the pink lilac and reds, or also cream and white.

it all depends on your style of taste. if you're a sassy kind of girl then go with the pink. but if you want it to look modern and mature then try a light lavender with white for accents or a teal and blue for a tropical felling. use the furnitures in your room to decide the color scheme. but make sure it match your style. try the site below for some ideas.

Personally I would paint one wall a dark color then the rest of the walls a light color or each wall a different color but your best option is to go to the bookstore and look at decor magazines choose paint jobs that you like. Go shopping on line for your comforter and then work around it.

If your room has four walls, I would paint three of them cream or white and one of them pink (or whatever). this way you can change the wall (without it costing much) if your tastes change.
