Uh, she needs some medicine right away.. You could die from kidney failure if it's not treated. Just do whatever you can to make her comfy. Being sick like that is awful.. I've had kidney infection 3 times, she needs a doctor right away

Please tell me she's under a physician's medical care. That is extremely important! It's her life we're talking about here.
Help her with Physician's instructions, like what fluids to take, the meds and time to take the meds.
Beyond the medical care, you know what's wonderful when someone is in pain? Having someone to listen. Having someone to listen and be supportive is invaluable.
If you are good at humor and making people laugh, that's Good too. It's helped me in painful situations.
Know that as a listener, you don't need to FIX anything, or bear a burden for her pain.
Just the fact that you listen is wonderful. Then, let it go. Don't take the venting personally.
It helps to have soothing or whatever constitutes uplifting music in the room.
I also have a sound machine with nature sounds.
Another thing I do is burn incense.
It's all about distraction via the senses.
Sometime I watch funny videos. Sometimes I actually have to ask friends for suggestions of funny movies because when I'm in pain, I just can't think straight. 20 First dates DVD movie was wonderful.
Endorphins from laughing help to neutralize pain.
Anyway, it's wonderful that you care enough to find out what matters.
Good luck!

If she hasn't seen a doctor, she needs to. A medical professional can provide her treatment and give her something to relieve the pain. Kindney infections pose a risk of kidney damage if left untreated. They are also very, very painful so if she has already received treatment and is now waiting for it to begin working, all you can really do is be there for her. Make sure she gets some rest, keep her as comfortable as possible, and help her with what ever she needs (getting her food & water, etc.). Hope she gets well soon!!

Aww you're so so sweet for being so caring, I suffered from 3 kidney infections, horrible. Just keep her comfy and get her whatever she needs and tell her to drink lots of water. Try and take her mind off of it and make sure she gets some antibiotics from the doc.

well if she has a infections she needs antibiotics to clear it up, nothing you do will cure it. But make her some soup, or a cup of tea. Massage her to make her feel better that way. Its nice to be taken care of when not feeling well.

You can't do anything to help her unless your a docotr, the most you can do right now is just comfort her the most you can, she should go to the doctor for that unless she already has. also just try to make her forget about it, have fun with her.
