My hearing...?

I'm only 13 and I already have bad hearing. I always think that people are saying something totally different when they are talking to me. I have an iPod and CD player, but I keep it really low. I've received hearing tests and I was fine in all of them. My friends also can't hear well. I am aware of the chemicals out there that are bad for you, and I avoid them. What can be wrong with my hearing!?

It could be more of a listening problem, if you pass the hearing tests. Listening problems are quite common at your age. It has to do with the brain developing during adolescence.
