The true reason we close our eyes when we kiss is that sensations are more intense when our eyes are closed. When one of your senses is lost, it heightens your remaining senses. Mmmm, nice! :)

1.) Mind your manners. It is considered rude to look into the eyes of your partner while kissing.
2.) Kissing with eyes wide open will definitely cause disractions
3.) shut your eyes from this world to savor the moment in its entirety.
4. When you close your eyes, it's more passionate.
5. Because you're so close to the person, to look at them can make your eyes cross!

People don't ALWAYS close their eyes. It is great when you look into your partners eyes and they tell you with out uttering a word that they are getting as much love, warmth and pleasure as you are. When people DO close their eyes, it is like when you hear a beautiful soothing song, you close your eyes and treasure the moment of ecstasy.

The whole eyes open while making out thing is just too weird. Next time you make out with someone, try opening your eyes-it will kinda freak you out. Plus, with your eyes closed you can totally relax and enjoy the moment.

to get into the moment and feel the kiss more. and plus [as much as i love my boyfriends eyes from further away] i dont like eyes close up and it gets kinda awkward to be staring at someone that close . . . but then again if we are just like sitting around like watching a movie at his house or something he loves to rest his forhead on mine and we just like look at eachotoher like that and talk [sorta] soo hmm thats a good question lol.

cos its arkward. and its good to close ur eyes so u can feel the kiss, with no senses other than ur mind. u cut out the world from that 'moment', makes it more special anyway :)

Because you are sharing a moment with some one else, you don't want to be distracted by other thing around you. It helps keep you in the moment with the person, really connected to them.

Because you go cross-eyed if you try and keep your eyes open.
Also, you want to enjoy the moment, and closing your eyes shuts off one of your senses so you can 'feel' the kiss more.
