I went out with a guy on Monday night and we had a blast. He asked me out for Sat night (the only night he is in town this week b/c of work). I haven't heard from him confirming the plans. What gives?

My husband use too when we were dating. Because I had wacky work hours. He understood I needed a reminder now and then.

The truth is difficult to accept. But here goes.

Most guys do not confirm date plans because they are always hoping for something better.

So, if a guy does not confirm the date with you the day before at least he is really not that interested in you.

This is a bit tough to do but the end result is better: Cancel the date. Call him and tell him you expect and deserve more. That'll get his attention.

guys like to keep their scheduals open incase anything better happens to pop up... sad but true... also guys assume once he mentions a plan that that plan is now confirmed and there is no need to mention it again. chances are its probably that so id expect to be goin out sat night... but it wouldnt hurt to actually call him and see if you guys are still goin out whats their to lose? if he says no he wasnt interested anyways and you can use that time you would of been waiting around to do better things

Some guys DO confirm the plans , just not the ones you pick.

What is wrong with you confirming with him, if you are the one doubt?

He probably thinks that he made a promise, he intends to keep it, so why should he confirm?

My man has never done that so, i think its just your man. Why didnt you ring him to confirm? What stopped you from calling him?
