Dragon, I could say the obvious, which is a truth that you spoke: if we have a good life, we are either lucky or grateful. I don't believe in luck, so I guess I must be grateful.

But what I really want to say is that I enjoyed your comment. Kiss kiss.

I am not sad. I have faith that I trust. This trust makes it possible for me to realize that when something 'bad' seems to happen to me, it will end up being for the best, in some way that I, usually, cannot imagine. My husband, 66, has had his own business for 37 years. A billionaire in town decided he wanted our building. He took it. Our lease just didn't seem to matter. He bought it and kicked my husband out of the business........by giving him a short, short amount of time to sell out. My husband became very ill with worry and with being so upset, sad. I told him it would be a blessing in disguise, as he works too hard, 7 days a week, at this business. Sure enough, the next day, he was offered 4 different jobs by other companies, who value his work and his work ethic. Now, he will be working for a friend who has a similar business..........not have the worries of having his own business, and be able to have days off. This friend is even buying up any inventory we cannot sell on such short notice. This is a blessing, in disguise.........and I had faith it would be so.

You've got a never ending question there. Most of us are unhappy with something in their life, or more than one thing,.... the person who can say that they are completely happy are very lucky or very grateful for what they have. So, how you gonna cheer me up then?

Life is good. My husband and I have been through the loss of our business recently, but only good has come out of it all. For me, the key is not just staying positive, but remembering that I can only be strong when I ask for the help from others. My husband and I have learned to ask for what we need from each other - something we really didn't do before.

To laurel: Thanks for sharing your expereince. Our business closed under similar circumstances and it is hard to not become bitter. Thanks for a positive perspective - it really means alot to me.

I'm sad, but it's okay. I'll get over it in time. I am experiencing my first heartbreak. I never imagined it would hurt so bad. Thank you for caring.
