Mostly spent entertaining my kids by reading or taking them to the loo - so far none of them has been badly behaved on a flight. This year will be plugging my eldest two into their Nintendos and reading to the boy - as long as he can go between me, his dad and the loo we should be OK - plenty of colouring books and crayons. Also like to id the bad toupees and figure out which elderly tourist has produced the nasty whiff - there is always one and being quietly smug about how well behaved my kids have been compared with the monster further up the plane (There is always one and always be grateful when its not yours). In between its figuring out on the flight map in the on board brochure where we might be, reading and having a conversation - remember that old skill!
Enjoy your flight just hope you don't get the farting incontinent foggy beside you and the screaming brat behind you or worse still the pissed lager lout who has no volume control.

I read a book, listen to music, eat, talk to people, try and watch a film until i get fed up of the fact that I can't actually hear anything. Then I dig out my ancient Gameboy Colour and play Pokemon for the rest of the flight.

video games on your telephone will paintings interior the sky.. basically positioned your telephone on plane mode. No, you cant can charge your telephone. Why the hell do you have 2 ipods and an iphone? The nighttime in the previous, attempt to not sleep incredibly late and stay wakeful. then youll be incredibly drained on the flight and pass to sleep and you wont even keep in mind happening it. take excitement in.

Bring a laptop, but make sure it already has plenty of games installed on it, because internet doesn't work (YET!) on planes without you spending hundreds of dollars to use their "infight data thingie".

Other than that, Nintendo DS, Ipod, In flight movie... and above all, EAT EAT EAT!

I prefer to be unconscious on a plane. Travel sickness pills and a tiny sip of alcohol and I'm out cold for the duration.

Watch the film, read a book, talk to people (hoping neither of you thinks the other is a freak), fall asleep.
