Who said I liked being single when the truth is I don't. But I deal with it just the same.

Freedom my dear. No one to answer too, no one to tell you what they like you to not do, date whoever you want, no one to tell you what to do, no one harping on you, going out and pick the guy you want to take you to breakfast, guys will spend money on a single woman, you can run around naked in your own place without the fear of a guy wanting something, no one to cook for or do their stinky landuary or hear them complaining. Let the guys you want spoil you.

Not alot. I'm married with 3 great kids. I wouldn't change a thing. Single is lonely quite a bit. Marriage and family is very stable and social.

When you are with a guy you always want to look your best but when you are single you dont need to care what you look like and you dont need to worry about little things like that anymore.

As an almost thirty, no kids, no wife, no gf guy...the best thing about it is that you dont have to plan around other people as much as you would. But I wish I had someone here right now with me, I would trade that in a second...

No more arguing, fighting and having a man think I should wait on him 24 hours a day. No more putting myself second and getting so little.

I guess you can tell it wasn't fun! LOL

Going on a lot of dates, meeting new people, being free to do anything I want (such as going out on weekends where "I" want to go, ...etc). Also, you get more done, you take better care of yourself because you have more free time, and you see more of your friends.

all the advantages of singlehood that you could imagine but it really sucks when you need a shoulder to cry on or a warm hug.

My independance. Right now I can go where I want, when I want, and stay out as long as I want to. I can eat what I want and do what I want. When I start dating again, that independance becomes more subdued... but that isn't totally a bad thing.
