The Bible teaches that a person comes into existence as a living soul, upon conception. As Christians, which believe in the Bible, we reject reincarnation as a heritical teaching.

Yes, some of us who follow Jesus on a metaphysical level of thinking do believe in pre-existence. One verse said Christ was with God from the beginning.
I have read many things and in that I have adopted other concepts. The spirit can incarnate from other places in the universe and has. There are many books on the subject.
I think we all pre-existed in angelic form because it says God made us a little lower than the angels. Earth was inhabited by an angelic form and was forced to leave the earth and incarnated in huminoids of the Lyra star system. They evolved and migrated into the universe to Arcturis, then to Earth again, and then to the Pleiades star system. The typical Christian view would differ with this information. But Spirit form did not start on Earth. It started with God who is the one spirit of which we are a part.

Only the Mormons believe that as far as I know, and they are usually considered to be a heretic sect by other Christian denominations.

Mormons believe that they were living in Heaven before they were born. Most Christian denominations believe that you had no existence before conception.

Christianity is a man made religion. Every individual regardless of the religion has the right to believe in what ever they feel comfortable with. My mum died 4 years ago, I'd like to think her spirit is still around me guiding me.
I feel sad that people take religion to the letter and follow and hang onto every word their leader (be it the pope or whoever) says. Most of the higher archey never practise what they preach.

Depends on the person, but I think our souls are eternal....they always were and always will be. There is no time in that plane of existence...so, it's now bound by the physical laws we see and understand here on earth.

Christians don't believe in reincarnation or another life before the one you are living in now.

We are created when we are concieved. Our souls are given to us then.

Peace in Christ.

I do. God had to create us and bring us into existence before we came to this earth. I like to think He allows us to pick which path we want to take (and what form we want) depending on what we have to learn in this life.

God was around before the earth but we were not - humans are created at conception that is when our souls begin - so yes our souls have a begining but no end

I believe in a different age, before we were in flesh, and that we are choosing if we want to follow God or not after what happened in that first age, Satan's downfall
