Why can't you answer any of our (Athiest-Agnostic) questions, you know, the ones that point out the fallicies in your religion and in the bible, without using "god said" or "the bible said" in your answer?

for example:
Why doesn't god prove he exists?
Because god said you need faith.

etc etc.
it gets tiring. at least us athiests will think about your question, and give a well thought out, intelligent answer.

why can't you guys give us the same courtesy?

Because Christianity is based around blindly following the Bible.

For those whom are Believers, the God and the Bible are such a great part of their lives that it is how we think, talk, write, etc.

Many of us have tried to explain by using experiences which showed what we were talking about, in a way to show that we have "been there" in similar thoughts, actions, and deeds at some point, but have learned differently, and why.... however, many have attacked us for doing so....they want us to be speaking as they are, yet, when we do, they don't, then they do, then they don't.....etc.,. etc.,. etc.,....

After a while, not knowing whom will accept what, we resort to what is "simple"...speak the Word of God and leave it at that.

Peace be with you :)

* NEED TO make a comment here, lol.... We Christians are asked "why" we believe the words of someone we do not "know" and take it as "truth"....ok, fair....then, explain why many Athiests quote to us the words from people they have only "heard" about, from articles and books, etc.,.and what THEY say what "truth" is? Where then, does that show us YOUR thoughts? Oh, they explain it better than you yourself can ? Ok, that is the SAME reason we quote from the Bible. :)

I artwork for between the main noticeably knowledgeable theological human beings Ive ever met exterior of a spiritual placing. He has examine biblical texts of their unique language and got here to the tip that Christianity is the main suitable certainty. he's genuinely knowledgeable in logic besides, and can argue his component nicely. although, it consistently returns to the information that are supposedly stimulated or dictated with the aid of God. At its least puzzling form, faith is a thought that has neither been definitively shown or definitively disproven. As such, purely around logic could be utilized to justify what would be unable to be time-honored for confident. incredibly plenty any thought is justified in the comparable way. as an occasion, Einstein's thought of relativity has been shown to precise in some situations. although, it incredibly is generalized to coach to the completed universe devoid human beings having been there to verify that extension of the assumption. additionally, the fee of sunshine is a persevering with in the equation and regrettably, the fee of sunshine does selection counting on what's effecting it. This thought is in all probability fake, yet previous effectual predictions because of the thought are used to justify its' correctness. (around Argument). finally all issues are subjective to the viewer and the certainty of any given merchandise comes from interior. there is not any maximum suitable certainty or maybe dying and time are probably beside the point in the bigger scheme of issues.

A former christian turned true believer will give you the answer that The Spirit of truth gave me. We were, that is our spirits, created in heaven and asked God for the opportunity to come to earth and have the opportunity to find our way back to God. We new full well that the deceiver would be doing his best to confuse us and hide the truth. We also knew that God would send His Son and give us The Holy Spirit to show us the way. These are the terms and conditions we agreed to and God is not responsible to provide any other evidence of His existence. There is a part of you that knows that I speak the truth in love to you. Listen to that part and reject the part that doubts.

Let me get out my violin... I feel the urge to play "My Heart Bleeds For You". You poor suffering atheists.

Now that that's taken care of, why doesn't God prove He exists? Because He doesn't need to. He's already provided adequate evidence for anyone who truly wants to find Him to do so. And I'll even go question further for you: what is this evidence? One either has to believe that intelligence, consciousness, a sense of morality, love, personhood, etc. arose from a naturalistic universe that has none of these to give or that they arose from a source that can provide these things because this source has these things as well. Is this proof of God? No, but I already admitted that it was only evidence.

Courtesy?! Courtesy!? Is that what you call facetious and hostile answers? God doesn't prove His existence because He simply doesn't have to. He can allow you to perish without giving a single indication of His reality. He would be totally justified. And He would still have nothing to prove to you. That is an honest and courteous answer. Think about that. And reject it. That's what you normally do.

Well in order for Christians to explain something from their religion, they have to use the bible. That's their reference point. It's the same as every other religion except atheists because you guys dont believe in anything. It's like asking someone to define a word they don't know without using the dictionary

Some of the questions you ask don't have an answer. Some don't have an answer that you will accept. Some we don't have the answer to. Some are beyond human reason. Some we do answer. Do you have all the answers to evolution? Like what caused the "big bang"? Can you give us an answer?

Science and Religion are two separate entities. One is proved by and with total logic. The other is believed by total Faith.

Your logic does not and will not understand Faith. Let me ask you a question that will be just as foolish as your question. Why can't Science prove itself to be totally true. If the facts are out there why can't science explain them. That may be foolish to you but it is not different they why doesn't God show himself. Frustration come from no understanding.
You show me your facts--I'll show you my Faith

Yes, I'd love to know the answer to this. I just answered a question about reincarnation that was specific and respectful and received thumbs down for typing a thoughtful answer. I used to be Catholic and studied a LOT of theology in university so I do understand the scriptures. If you've noticed there's been much cyber-preaching today with pasting from Bible quotes which in itself gets tiring. I don't know.......it's not a full moon......must be the weather.
