Im just recently single/ divorced. Just a poll to see how many singles (30-35) year olds there are around. Seems like everyone should be attached at that age. If they arent, why?

I am 31 & I am not quite sure if I am single ;) I broke up w/ my bf a few months ago, cos I am not sure if I want to marry him (& that's what's next after a 7 year relationship)... I clearly explained that I would like 2 c him occasionally (4 sex) cos I don't have much time & don't want 2 bother dating others... He acts like nothing's changed... he hasn't broken up with me :)
Honestly, I sometimes feel like single, but sometimes... hmmm... like we r still going somewhere 2gether... Confusing :)

I'm 37 and married. I've only been married for 5 years. I started to feel that I was the only single person left on the earth before I met my wife. I don't know the stats, but I think coming off of the big D, you will be fine staying single for a while utill you find a friend you can share your life with.
Don't rush it. Enjoy your singleness.

Im 21 and single. But if I am single by the time I am 30, I dont want to feel bad about it. There is no "rule" saying by 30 you should have someone. Many people dont find love until they are in their 30's or even older and that's ok! No one should feel like they have to have someone and settle for something that is less than anything you could possibly want. :)

Everyone should have a lot of things, but sometimes things don't work out in life for people for whatever reason. Alcoholism, obesity, severe illness, mental illness, personality disorders, mental retardation, severe deformity, disfigurement, etc. etc. there are over a million people without homes, jobs, and some are starving.

I'm one of those people who isn't attached and for me, it was shyness that kept it from happening. The reasons for not having a significant other at that age is either due to ugliness, meanness, joblessness, or shyness.
