when i was in health class this past year a guy asked me out and i said no because i didn't know him that well and than a while after that day he was talking to my friends and said they were mean and came and sat by me and said that i was nice so i have two questions the first is that was i right to say no to him and the second is that dose he like me?

I'd say, if you think you might be interested, take your time and get to know him. You can get together casually, in public, coffee, lunch, something like that. Talk. Friendly, casual. Get to know him and then decide. Things are getting very crazy out there. Take the time to get to know him a little before you decide on what to do.

Yes he likes you and he probably asked your friends about you but you might want to give him a shot just bring a friend and make it very public and during the day

Okay...he asked you out so the second question is obvious, he is just peeved that you dissed him...but you were right, you really should know someone before you go somewhere alone with them...check out who knows him, what he is about, hang out with people first...
