Hello all! I pray that you are doing well today. I have some questions for you today that I hope will get you to think deeply and if your relationship with God is suffering to maybe help you to get that back on track. You do not have to post your answers, you may feel that they are too personal.
1. WHO IS YOUR GOD?
2. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE HIM? ( we all describe God in different ways)
3. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU THAT GOD IS WHAT YOU THINK THAT HE IS?
4.WHAT WOULD IT MEAN FOR YOU TO KNOW GOD AS HE REALLY IS? it is the difference between life and death, between life and abundant life. Knowing God is knowing the difference between: rest and turmoil, victory and defeat. Finding a refuge, or living as a fugitive.
Dear friends, consider this:
Every problems root: 1. An incorrect knowledge of God. 2. A lack of trust about who God says that He is.

In other words, when we know God as He really is, there's a power in our lives--the ability to stand firm. We aren't left in the state of inertia where so many are today simply because they do not know and confindently understand the character and ways of their God.

The Power that controls the universe... We can Feel it but cannot see till we get enlightened... I am proud to say, I have seen it in 1993... It's pure very bright white light. Comes like an explosion into you as you are enlightened during meditation... Then there is nothing but that light...

Pure omni presence, omni science and omni potence...

The God that is so called worshipped is just an imagination of people. Everyone thinks in a different way about God. That is his or her idea of superior being... It has got nothing to do with REAL GOD.
4.WHAT WOULD IT MEAN FOR YOU TO KNOW GOD AS HE REALLY IS?
(it is the difference between life and death, between life and abundant life. Knowing God is knowing the difference between: rest and turmoil, victory and defeat. Finding a refuge, or living as a fugitive.)
Knowing God is just knowing to be! When you know God, you are one with that power. Then nothing matters! Life or death are just expressions of being. rest and turmoil are just stages of matter (physical or spiritual)! With God, the whole world is one single unit! Your roof is the sky and walls are the directions.(at least that's what I have understood after 1993). You need no refuge as you ARE in HIS house!
After this, some wish to leave the world and go away from society (supposedly in further quest), so, there is very less authentic information about this.
May be only few (so called fools) like me stay on in the world and keep following the daily routines and daily responsibilities!
Hope I have not hurt anyone's feelings!

'cause, anyway, God is not going to decide how he should be, after reading my answer or anyone elses comments!

1. My God is the God of Jacob, Abraham, Moses and David-- He is the only God to send His son Jesus as a sacrifice to abolish the restraints of sin.
2. God is love.
3. It's amazing. God has been consistent throughout my life, He has been refining me so that I can serve for His purpose.
And if God is love, that purpose is also for my benefit.
4. To know God as he Truly is? To know the full extent of God's mercy, power and love is absolutely unfathomable. It's like trying to imagine what it will be like to be in heaven forever x infinity. I will know more when I am before Him, but even then, I could never measure his greatness.

My God is Christ Jesus, the true son of God and Lord of my life
I would describe him as my best friend, my holy father, my protector
to me I know that God is all that the Bible says and my whole reason for life, without God there isno reason and no purpose
I strive everday to draw nearer to God and know his perfect will more. only when I am in the middle of God's will does my life have it's proper place. I am an handmaiden of the Lord

All I know about God is what I have been shown by Jesus in the n.t. and gnostic gospels and confirmed by The Spirit of truth within me. They both tell me that God is above anything that I could imagine so don't concern myself with it. I believe them and I don't. However, He does not resemble the god of Moses in any way.
