or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

You MUST be very bored this morning or afternoon, whatever your time zone. I have never gained the whole world and I have never lost my sense of spirit and yet I do not believe the things which you believe. Is it possible that by constant cyber-preaching you are losing your own soul in the process? No. Do you know who you are? Yes. Have you helped people in need? Many times and I continue to do so. Have you loved everyone unconditionally? Not until after I was saved. Have you practiced love and forgiveness? Not until after I was saved. If you haven't and continue to judge your beliefs are useless. That's quite correct. IF I were judging anyone, I would need to do so with righteous judgement as the Bible instructs and not as a hypocrite, but my question to you is how do you perceive that I have judged anyone? I have only quoted scripture. If this bothers you, you have a spiritual problem and I will pray for you. I'm not being sarcastic, I will sincerely pray for you. God bless you.

he would profit nothing. the soul is all you can leave this world with so there is nothing worth exchanging for it. we are in this world in order to cultivate our souls by denying ourselves physical pleasures which is why whoever will save his life (enjoy worldly pleasures) shall lose it (soul) and whoever will lose his life (deny worldly pleasures) shall find it. worldly pleasures being greed and lust and power.

Logically, the base premise is rather silly. A soul/spirit is the person and the person is the soul/spirit. Therefore, a soul/spirit can never be lost to the person. It can be soiled and tortured like the physical body, but never separated from the person the soul/spirit is. Therefore, the Biblical syllogism offered is moot.
